There are a few years when he was single, so maybe this fits into that time period. He also might have had an open relationship with Anita considering how fine he was with her affair with Mick Jagger while they were together. To be fair, Anita repeatedly claimed Mick had a longtime romantic thing going with Keith so it might have been more poly than plain cheating or an open relationship.
Still we can say overall that he's probably a pretty faithful man (at least to the rules he and his partner set in their own relationship, not necessarily in the traditional sense) because he stayed together with both his partner's for so long and ended things amicably with Anita.

Did you read Keith's autobiography? Brian Jones was violent towards Anita Pallenberg, and she escaped him by looking to Keith for help and refuge, and then it became a relationship. They stayed together for a long time but unfortunately she had a drug problem which she never got over. Compared to Mick Jagger, Keith is a model of fidelity.
Brian was always shagging their girlfriends in the early days of the Stones.

There are a few years when he was single when this might have happened. Or maybe him and Patty had an open relationship for a few years, it wouldn't be surprising considering how long he stayed with the notoriously promiscuous Anita.
He left Anita due to some very serious issues, it is not fair to put all the blame on him.
They both had huge drug issues, which he freely admits in his book 'Life'. Their son Marlon was raised by Keith on the road with the Stones since birth, she was hardly ever involved. He suspected their daughter Dandelion to be the result of Anita's affair with Mick Jagger on the set of the movie 'Performance' and not without reason. Anita could not take care of the child because of her drug addiction and Keith already had his hands full attempting to be a somewhat responsible parent for Marlon, so she was raised by Keith's mother her whole life. Their last child Tara tragically passed away at just 10 weeks old of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome while Anita was taking care of him. She was very deep in her heroin addiction, so it is quite possible that SIDS was caused by her placing the baby in his cot incorrectly while high. Their relationship never recovered after the child's death.
I don't think you can fault the man for not being able to stay together with a partner in this situation.
Their son Marlon definitely got the worst end of the stick though, he had to grow up with his drug-addicted father who did try but usually fell short and then was sent to live with the woman who never really cared about him when she was there & her abusive boyfriend when Keith was busted for drugs (that were actually both his and Anitas).
Defenitely a complicated relationship with many faults on both sides, but the stereotype of the poor cheated-on wife does not apply here.

I'd say that Keith has been faithful to his wife, but before being married to her, he might not have stopped short of sleeping with someone else wife on occasion. But right, he's never been a womanizer. That was Bill Wyman.

Well I would assume this was in the 70s or 80s (not very likely that it was the 60s as branson would have been less than 20) when the stones were at the height of their fame and keith was a lot crazier. That keith was one hell of a handsome guy. Don't base it on 2013 keith who, I agree, is a zombie.
My argument was, in whichever of both posts, ULTIMATELY, that there are innocents (wife, children), and by PUBLICLY, ON TELEVISION, telling a "humourous anecdote", for self aggrandizement is not taking THOSE INNOCENTS into consideration. What part of THAT do you have a problem with?
