    That's how it's done.

Great Video - I'm always jealous when I see these rooms that seem to have an 'ensuite cupboard' room built into them. Absolutely perfect for musicians.
Don't have that built into our house and not seen many rooms in the UK like that.
    But great build.

Awesome setup! 🤩 I like the design and lightning you went for, the cable closet is very nice as well. Did you buy the Acoustic panels or DIY?

Thanks! Yes I originally had every cable in a duffle bag and it was hard to find things when they were needed. I can't remember who I stole the pegboard wall cable idea from but it has been a much better solution. As far as the acoustic panels, I bought the Primacoustic London 16 pack from Sweetwater. I have built panels in the past for a friend's studio and they ended up great, but I took the lazy route for these haha.

Nice. I'm about to build out a space in my basement.. what are you using to hang the panels? corner bass traps are built out to what thickness? 3'?

I believe the corner bass traps are 2.5" thick. They really should be thicker to control anything below 200-300 Hz, but since I am using a small spare bedroom in an apartment, I can't really go too thick. The panels are hung from a metal wall plate with teeth, but they are so light that I probably could have used a regular picture frame hook. I have done it that way before when I was helping a friend build panels for his studio in his house.
