Hello, People. This song was written for the film, and it WAS recorded by Sean Connery, as was credited to him, as there has been a HUGE debate about this, but on the DVD, Sean talks about his singing this song, and he didn't like his voice. Add to the fact that Brendan's voice is MUCH different than Sean's. Also, if you compare the vocals on this film, with Sean singing on "Doctor No", you'll see that it is the same!

@TopGun11980 It's from Darby O'Gill and the little People, maybe if you search the film online :).
@dolphinluv2413 Yes indeed :) I really didn't like Sean connery's version. I prefer this one.
@EVPpsycho I don't really get why, because Connery's real singing voice is not bad at all.
@dolphinluv2413 Are you joking? The bean-sidhe MADE the ending of that film!
That... was... AWESOME!!
In all seriousness I wasn't really too sure about it at first. Then the drums kicked in...
@dolphinluv2413 no banshee is the BEST part
I really liked "Darby O'Gill and the Little People." The ending is great.
@EVPpsycho Connery didn't sing it; He was dubbed over by Brendan O'Dowda.
@2wingo Wow :D I never ever knew that. Learn something new each day. Thanks!
I like this one too!!!!
