You sold a book today. I bought it on Kindle after watching the interview this morning and I've been reading it all day. It's very absorbing. A fascinating subject that's been overdue for an overview book like this.
Megan, do you have a special British accent? I don't know why I'm stuck on it, but I love how you say Christian and God. Anyway, you have a great voice and use it to great ends. Thanks.
I can see it in my mind's eye that people dig haphazardly beneath their own properties. And that under the city it looks like a Swiss cheese. But yes, I think there's worlds to uncover and the book sounds like a really good read.
Everybody should watch the movie "The Body" from 2001 with Olivia Williams, Derek Jacobi and Antionio Banderas... "All I want to do was dig a basement...."
Someone has told The Naked Archaeologist in a episode that they think they found it. They used a technology showing where the light shows where something was in a photo. They think that the romans built their temple on top of it after taking over. Do you think this could be credible or just propaganda?

Great interview thanks for the conversation
Archaeology in Jerusalem is a very interesting topic :)
Wow that temple mount dig story was very eye opening. I'm always excited to learn something new and important.
Fascinating as always. Now excuse me while I google the wailing wall.

It's a shame that the area is so politically problematic. It makes all the historical and archaeological finds political.
what's the strongest argument against judaism that hasn't been refuted and is clear that can be used by a layman like me haha
