An almost perfect lady! Superb (seems as you really love this word, 9 times used in this presentation, lol) finishing and a smart lay out. Bimini for the helm stations and solar panels would complete the package. Congrats!
Thanks for raising this RayRay. The DNA of our 60ft-120ft ocean cruising yachts is rooted in over 20 million bluewater sailing miles and more than 90 sailing circumnavigations. We use this experience to refine our explorer sailing yachts to ensure they are capable of taking you anywhere in the world in complete luxury, comfort and safety. Safety is paramount for ocean sailing, and the helm stations on the 565 are no exception. The helm stations are set into the cockpit and bedded into the yacht with deep recessed footwells with angled sides for secure footing when heeled over. They are also protected from flogging sheets with concealed lines fed into the winches, which are located aft within safe and easy reach of the helm station. The helm stations have been designed from the skipper’s perspective, affording a clear view of the sails and deck, along with a wider outboard view to keep an eye out for buoys and hazards. Additionally, the G6 hull with twin rudder design has been developed to give great handling qualities, stability and fingertip control on the helm. When the boat heels (even at extreme angles) there is always one rudder in the water at the correct angle, giving you fingertip control on the helm. There is also always the option of turning the autopilot on and enjoying further protection under the sprayhood! I hope this helps answer any concerns you have, and if you want to find out more about the intricacies of the 565 design, you can do so here: oysteryachts.com/new-sailing-yachts/oyster-565/
@@oysteryachts It's truly a beautiful boat, however, it does need some sort of protection on the helm in a sea or even in the rain as you shouldn't have to rely on auto whenever the weather is bad. I imagine that some sort of solidly built bimini or cover could be installed. A cover that could be extended over the cockpit to provide shade would be good in hot sunny conditions. Also, I'm wondering about solar; where would panels go, and do you have adequate space for a good bank of lithium batteries, I haven't seen any mention of them in the reviews and walkthroughs I've seen.
@@oysteryachtsi would choose an amel just because of the helm being so exposed. In foul weather over a long passage it would be miserable being in that helm.
Beautiful yacht. The build quality seems to be what is expected from Oyster. From the video, I get the impression that the ample saloon with high ceiling could benefit from more grab-bars for safety at sea. If owners will indeed take it for serious sailing, that'd be recommended.
Is there no way to have it fitted out to electronically lift the dinghy and store it on a full transom? Even with the lazarette door in the middle I would think there should be enough room to raise a Boston whaler and store it in deck?
Agree, they look impressive from the outside but are blocked by settees in the owners cabin and the saloon. I do not see the point of them in this configuration. At the very least those settees need to have removable backrests to let windows really let the light inside.
@@AndreyBrizhinev I've not seen them other than pictures so you could be right.I like the idea of verticle windows though they bring something different. The only negative I heard before your comment was the recessed openings on the outside of then that cause drag.Which makes sense.
I have been in the market for a new yacht for a few years but just had not found the brand that checked all the boxes, rang the bells and whistles. Oyster has done just that.
Thank you Ron! We are extremely pleased to hear this. Don't hesitate to get in touch with our sales team at sales@oysteryachts.com for further details.
There is really no need for a traveller on a heavy blue water cruising boat. If you really wanted one, they would build you one in as an option, they love doing that sort of thing
Hi Edward, we pride ourselves on all Oyster yacht models being bluewater sailing yachts. This means they are built to handle the toughest seas, and many people buy an Oyster because of just this reason- they know they are in the best hands. The build quality plus exceptional after sales support means you are covered, whatever the weather. You can find out more information about what makes an Oyster unique on our website, and contact us with any other questions you may have 😊
Hi MrNohab! The Oyster 565 offers a wide range of interior wood options, including walnut, maple and oak. A selection of alternative interior layouts are also available, enabling a variety of configurations to suit personal requirements. You can find out more on our website here: oysteryachts.com/new-sailing-yachts/oyster-565/
Wow, that's incredible! However, I wonder about those low windows. Each must be underwater a quarter of the time at sail. She's PERFECT otherwise! Will you take a check? ;-)>
The helm station seems to high and unprotected for me ..maybe if I was given one to sail for a few months I could change my mind ....otherwise it's a malo or najad for me .....

Everything is so perfectly made and taking care of every single detail... stunning...
This is a yacht with soul. I'd like to sail this beauty sometime.
Helm stations are no good in rough weather no protection but the rest is impressive.

@@ianbullphoto1 There’s a full length bimini… it’s just not on this one for the video.

What a beautiful result of team work. Well done.
Thank you Jim!
An absolute dream!
I'm in love with this beautiful yacht!😍
That makes two of us Adrian!
Beautiful. Some might say: superb (times 28)!
Great job Oyster. To say that Oyster is back is an under statement. There back with a vengeance. Oustanding job.
Thank you! We truly appreciate your kind words.
Superbly superb. Absolutely superb.
Thank you! She is absolutely stunning.
Stunning. I seriously regret not having checked her out thoroughly on Boot 2020. I was literally standing in front of her, but our schedule was tight.
Thank you! Keep an eye on our events page not to miss our future events: oysteryachts.com/events/
I don't like the fact that theres no protection at the helm from the elements. Drop the twin helms and move it forward so its protected in rough seas
There’s a full length bimini standard for coverage.
Stunning boat period!
a lovely yacht, just need to buy a lottery ticket!
What a stunning blue water sailing boat from one of the worlds best boat builders!
Thank you Paul!
Another great looking boat , so why finish it with a tent ?

обожаю тонкий английский юмор
looks much bigger than the old 485 love the new hull shape
Thanks James. You'll have to take a closer look when you have a chance!
495 replaces the 485 not the 565
Very well done video.

The gilled windows make it the most beautiful boat of the modern generation 😍

Very nice. Any free samples?
Great yacht, great video!
Thank you John!
Not complaining but why do the Oysters have a single point main sheet instead of a traveler?

My dream yacht, what a beaut!! I'll need a few more views first...😅
Is this good and strong enough for ocean crossing and rough weather?

Is there any other interior color options? I mean lot more wood, and traditional wood work? Personally I dislike the modern hotel feeling!

Not really a world cruiser No helm protection.
You gave me high blood pressure
Love it

Part of the charm is seeing underwater while underway.
I could see myself on this.

She certainly is, Colin!
Dogecoin to the moon then ill buy this
You and me both buddy! To the moon!
I call my boat Ripple LOL
Bought it yet?
Crypto to the moon and buying this boat is definitely a possibility. Good luck!
Why Oyster is so expensive than its competitors?,because Oyster is completely very high quality.
It was looking promising till I saw the 2008 bathrooms fitted with black marble and cheap-looking veneer. FYI “clever TV” statement is a bit passe.’
Great presentation but, I think I am beginning to dislike the word “superb”
🤩
Am I the only one who counted 17 times the word superb???
its a superb boat XD
