Iam o glad you are back . I miss your tutorials .you are the only one that makes everything so easy to do and understand. Keep up the good work you are a very wonderful person. Please stay and good luck in your new home.
Awww thank you so much! I truly appreciate the kind words. I'm hoping to get back to my regular schedule. Working through a major move, chronic illness and a broken rib. UHG! But it feels so good to pick up a hook and yarn and creating again.
Welcome back, and all the best with the changes [growth!] :) I love this stitch pattern; perfect for warmer weather. Also appreciate the pointer on where to insert the hook on the second row [left of the strand]. 'Multi-purpose poncho' seems like an accurate [if somewhat boring] name..😆
Beautiful!!! ❤❤ I would call it a poncho. I love the colors you chose!!! I’ll be making one with similar colors! Welcome back!! Hope you are ALL better now!🥰🥰🧶🧶
Omg i love this. This video came up in suggestions and so glad i found you. Love the poncho and the bstwibg sweater as well. I need to hurry up and finish my current wips as these patterns are so tempti g to start right Way
Hi,🌹 this is definitely something for me. I love ponchos and this one is simple and beautiful.🥰 I will do that again. 👍 Thanks for the sharing 👏 and greetings from Germany. 🙋♀️
Love this idea!., and the stitch. Thankyou for sharing I've been wanting to make a poncho but dont like the triangle form. I'm going to make one in my football teams colours for those cooler evenings at the stafium.
Wrawlcho....wr from wrap, awl from shawl, cho from poncho. Pronounced R awl cho.... Rawl like y'all and cho. Welcome back!! Looking forward to our next visit!
It's actually 'two sizes fits most'. Please watch the video for sizing detail. I'm working on the blog post written pattern which will provide more info if needed. Thank you for watching!
So happy you like this! You can make it longer by adding more rows as preferred. However, making it knee length would give you a lot of material to heft around at the arms.
Greetings! I know I am being thick, but I'm not figuring out what space to start in on the second row. For row 1, we make single crochet, then chain 2 and turn, then ESC in the first "space." I'm doing something wrong and don't know what. Is it the first stitch I begin in? Thank you so much!
I got the email notification of your question and want to reply right away because it sounds like you are working this now. At the 3:22 mark it clearly shows where to start that first st of Row 2. You skip the space (or st) right under the turning ch and work into the next stitch. I said space but should be stitch. The video is pretty clear where you enter the hook. I hope this helps.
The dimensions depend entirely on the yarn used. The yarn I used is super stretchy. I re-measured it just now and on the table it is now 18 inches and on the body (I'm 4'11 ish) it is 21 inches. Super stretchy.

This looks size specific, are your measurements for the model size? What about four extra large 3X etc.

it says height is 16inches i am 5ft tall. 16 inches is like a 3/4 length of that in your videos...
