Thank you lovely, we do too and wish it was more often. Maybe in the new year our family might find some time to lock in another weekend so we all can be together. Sadly Nick missed this one.
@@NatashaMcInerney-k9s hello Natasha, does that mean you found them or someone else did? Thanks for watching & following our travels, appreciate your message. We love our camp cooking too. 😁 Cheers Marg
@@mattyranger5565 Hi Matt, it is a beautiful spot. Your kids will have a ball and we highly recommend booking the pizza over experience while you are there. We made another video on Potato Point last year where I showed more of the camp sites if you are interested. Cheers Marg

Thanks Loretta, we camped at Tuross Heads about 27 years ago, it would be good to see what it's like now. Would love to have the time to explore more, I've always found the South Coast so romantic. Cheers Marg.
Awesome video guys!! What a bloody spot to cam and set up the van!! Definitely looks like you had the pick of the park👌 agree with the rubbish just keep places clean and pickup after yourself and there is no problem, simple. Glad I found you guys through Offtrack4x4 aswell! Keep up the great work! Cheers🍻🌿
@@sharyns.shenanigans site #83 is the best, in our opinion, but needs to be booked ahead as campers rebook year after year, so it’s lucky to secure this particular site. Other than this site, there are many more along the beach front but side by side with other campers.
Love the painted stones . I’m just looking at places to go nxt February, hope to take off for a month , I’m now looking at this place, it looks lovely & the fact that there is a lavender shop near by is a total bonus. 🧡
@@lorrainedraper82 Thanks Lorraine, the girls loved the painting, even Riley with his Wren. Give Beachcomber Holiday Park now to secure a booking - we loved site 83 as you have a buffer from the hedge around it, this was the 2nd time at that site and there seems to be so much more space around it.

@@rachaelglasson7049 hi Rachael, you have to tip them out on the ground and cover them to stop them from burning, Steve uses the large lid of our camp oven to snuff them out. You can get a couple of uses out of them if you don’t leave them to burning. You possibly could use water but would need to let them dry out before you could use them again. Hope this helps.
It can be windy anywhere depending on the direction of the wind but for us at Potato Point we were in the most sheltered spot facing north, and surrounded by shrubs on two sides to the east and south sides of our camp site. We also have the added bonus of a home made windbreak which I've made the instructions available for download. I'll pop the link in the description part of this episode on UA-cam or check out our Instagram page for the QR code. Cheers Marg

Such an awesome spot. Taking our kids there soon. Top stuff with the rubbish too. Rubbish attracts rubbish unfortunately if it’s not picked up 👏

Nice video! We always pop in to Campbells Oyster Farm on the highway, very cheap and good oysters. Bring your oyster knife always.
Oh wow, we were so close. Will make a note next time. Love the South Coast local oysters. Thanks for the tip.
