37:21 here's a little something that will probably blow your mind. You remember that legend Fi told you at the beginning? If you look on the walls in this scene, you can make out the whole story as it goes up.
I CANT CONTAIN MY EXCITEMENT OVER ZELDA'S AWAKENING SCENE. OH MY GOODNESS. THOSE ADDED LINES MADE MY HEART MELT.

+Chocoroko Nate has such a fitting voice for Link. His grunts are fantastic, but those single lines... Gosh. Perfection. They were so well placed and appropriately minimal which made the delivery more impactful. And thanks, haha. c: You did a great job editing everything together! I felt that the ambience was brought to a whole new level with the touches of reverb.
I'm glad it turned out well! Probably my favorite Act of all my dub edits thus far.

(That's not to say no one else does a fantastic job, it's just that Ghirahim seems really tough to do with his mood fluctuations, and his VA just _nailed it_.)

That's my headcanon and I'm sticking to it.
I love how Link speaks, but I do wish that he had spoken more than just twice. There were many moments in act 1 and 2 and earlier in 3 that would have been great to put in a line or two. Link would have a lot more character while still remaining the silent hero guy that he is.

I already knew the end and just loved it. (It really made me cry.) But your version with the voices was so much better. I never saw talking Link coming. Even if I usually think Link is best the way he is, I fangirled way to much about this four words in total. I thought I finally got over the "Good Morning, Zelda." but then he asked for Fi and...

I'd go with Skyward Sword Link sayin' "Mornin', sleepin' beauty.", or with Link sayin', "Mornin', sleepyhead." Ya know, to be more casual and more badass. Droppin' the g in words with i-n-g, 'cept fer sayin' thing an' things. Like, "Somethin's gotta give.", "Quit makin' stuff up!", "Whatcha doin'?", "Bro, I'm KILLIN' it!", "Y'gotta stop DOIN' that!", "Ain't no tellin' who's gonna be listenin' in.", "Payin' my bills.", AND "Just keepin' it real!" Again, to be more casual AND more badass. I'd go with Skyward Sword Link bein' voiced by Noriaki Sugiyama (talkin' like when Akito in Norn 9 AND Akihiro from Kimi to Boku talk like punks) AND Sam Riegel (talkin' like Metal Bat in One Punch Man). Fer Skyward Sword Zelda (the first Zelda in the chronology), I'd go with Maaya Sakamoto (with Jeanne's voice) and Alexis Tipton (with Sun's voice, the same English voice as Clair's voice) as her voice actresses. Like Musubi AND Lala, she called the male lead a sleepyhead. Maybe she'd be like, "Wake up, sleepyhead!" Skyward Sword Link was her sleepyhead, then HE woke her up twice. The first time was crushin' the Imprisoned with a wish the Triforce made real (Maybe it was like, "Destroy the Imprisoned so nobody else in our time feels the sufferin' from his rampage again. Destroy the Demon King so nobody else's gonna die from his rampage again."), the second time was killin' the Demise in the past with the Master Sword in the last battle. AND lettin' the sword absorb the Demon King's remains so Zelda could wake up again with the power restored to 'er, savin' her life. Ta really top it off, Noriaki and Maaya voicin' the chilldhood friends in the Japanese audio could the next step. With Sam AND Alexis voicin' the childhood friends in the English dub, it could be the next step with workin' together in the same production again (like when Sam voiced Teddie and Alexis voiced Platinum in Blazblue: Cross Tag Battle). Sam's voiced protags, like Shiro Emiya in Fate/stay night. Alexis voiced leadin' ladies, like Athena in Luck & Logic, Musubi in Sekirei, Lala in To Love Ru, an' Julia in Fullmetal Alchemist: The Sacred Star of Milos. Fer Fi, the "spirit of the Master Sword", I'd go with Kana Ueda AND Mela Lee.

When Demise speaks of humans the way he does, he reminds me of Zamasu. It's just that Demise refers to himself as the source of all evil, and Zamasu to himself as the god of justice

The voice of Heidi Tabing as Zelda is perfect and I liked very much to hear her talking for awhile during the end credits.
Glad to hear Isabelle Amponin as Fi singing one last time in this Act, and her voice makes me miss Fi even more. :´)
Ghirahim sure gives me the creeps with the voice talent of Michael Potok.
Nice voice of Jakob Dillon for Demise too and I too liked when he keeps talking to Link during battle. I didn't see that coming.
The endings (before and after end credits) of this game is touching and beautiful at the same time.
I'm glad to see another version of it, besides of Aderumoro's version. ^^
And they work very well, even that they have differences from each other. ;)
I say congrats once again and thanks a lot for doing the three acts for us fans and viewers.

+AnaxErik4ever We definitely pushed both our actors to perform at their highest potential. Michael and Jakob are great to work with. :D
What I meant was Michael's performance improved throughout the course of the series. Ghirahim was definitely better developed by the second fight you do with him. Why didn't you have the clips of him instigating all those other fights, like in the Eldin Spring and the Ancient Cistern, though?
Michael Potok nailed it as Ghirahim! Though it did feel a bit off and inconsistent without the mechanical-sounding filter when he revealed his true form. Especially when the actual fight had the filter, but his voice actor lacked it. And if there is one (which I think I can hear on occasion), it's barely audible, even with earphones, especially when juxtaposed with the filter the Japanese VA had in the fight. It could have at least had the same filter as Fi's voice actress was given, to further show the parallelism between both characters. But that's just a small nitpick. Overall, I really like how this project turned out! I also really liked the added dialogue this time around. ♥
+Nate River I tried to give his "true form" lines a technical sound to hopefully match Fi. I can hear what I did with it, but I suppose that's not the same with everybody. Regardless, I get where you're coming from. I appreciate the feedback all around! :)

It's just not as audible compared to the Japanese VA's filter, where it's more apparent. Compared to Potok's filter, it's less audible. But that's not really something that can be helped, anyway.
So I retract my previous comment!
Chocoroko But I do greatly respect the fact that you take the time to respond to each and every comment here. It's cool that you see how closely you guys take the comments' compliments and criticisms to heart!
Just finished watching all 3 acts. I think you guys did a pretty good job overall given what you had to work with! I'm sure any of the criticisms I have to offer have been stated a thousand times, so I won't bother with that. =P
I will say, however, that I think productions like this are indicative of the fact that the current writing style for Zelda dialogue isn't designed to be spoken, and that comes across in how unconversational some of the lines are. And that's no fault of the actors here-the script is already set in stone and the actors did a good job delivering the lines as naturally as they could.
But if Zelda games are ever to have voice acting, the writing will need to be in a different style. I think it COULD work, especially if the voice direction has as much passion behind it as this.
+Artsy Omni First Artsy, I just wanted to say THANK YOU for taking the time to watch all three parts. :D
And I, without a doubt, can't agree with you more on the dialogue. The games, especially SS, have excellent story elements, but the writing is not it's strongest point. The dialogue can run repetitive, where most text boxes sound like run ons. We've worked with the cast to best speak this dialogue the best we can, and we'd like to think we did our best with what we had to work with. ;) Fi's farewell scene, though! Still brings a tear to my eye, especially when editing.

Why did you skip Ghirahim calling upon the hoard of Bokoblins?
they also seemed to skip groose calling out that Demise hadn't fully digested the goddesses' soul yet and that, If link hurries up and beats him, they can restore her soul back to it's proper place.

Your Groose is hilarious; love your Zelda's work; and the narrator is wonderful as always. Yay for finally including the little robot that has a crush on Fi; he sounds great. I was worried about Levias not having a great voice, but it seems my fears were unfounded. Yay for the dragons, the Kikwi, and Impa (both young and old).
Thank you all for doing this for my second favorite Zelda game. Once Twilight Princess HD comes out, I'd love if you could assemble a cast to dub the re-release of my favorite one.

What an amazing journey... Thanks so much guys for this! I've played through the game only once when it came out and I have to say I actually felt way more emotionally connected watching this than when I played, and those ending scenes were even more awesome. And Spoilers... But hearing Link speak made me feel a type of way at first, lol, but I actually like it and I don't think I'm against him speaking out loud in future games if it's done minimally like you guys did. All the voices were superb though to the point where it sounded professionally done. Anyway, I'm eagerly looking forward to the next project for sure!!

The first time Ghirahim was shown as a sword for a split second when I was playing, I just had this moment of realization and was like: "Shit."
There's a few lines that Ghirahim says while he's doing his summoning ritual, the ones where he sends the Bokoblins after Link.
"I don't care if the whole lot of you gets lodged by the end of his blade, you will buy me the time I need! Do not fear him... Fear my wraith if you fail me!"
I was wondering why ya'll didn't include that part. Otherwise, I'm in love with this dub!

i will always love the cut scene of "the song of the hero" it gives me goosebumps every time. truly one of my top favorite cut scenes in video games (that and when ever you learn a song or Fi sings), plus i love the gag that happens before you see the scene when link holds up the harp XD
It really is funny, because the fact that Groose took part in Zelda's origin, makes him a legend
Wouldn't it be nice, if everywhere you went, that there would be faint but beautiful music just gently playing in the background? I think it would be very neat just to sit in a specific place and quietly listen to the music there. Like in Faron Woods, if you like the theme, wouldn't it be nice to just sit there in such a beautiful area looking at the trees and hearing gentle music? I would definitely sit there for hours. Legend of Zelda music is great and I would love to be able to walk anywhere and hear one of the songs. 😌
Fantastic work! As an aspiring voice actor, I paid particular interest in this project - and the Hyrule Warriors one. I really wanted to be involved, but sadly lack any voice recording tools. If a Twilight Princess one should come, I would love to audition. Even a small part would be enough in my favourite Zelda game. Again though, amazing work to all those involved. The improv lines were splendid; Zach Schloss (Groose) was a blast and Link's lines were unexpected and a treat. I've always got misty eyed over Fi's farewell, and hearing voice acting just made it all that more bittersweet. Demise's voice was just as ominous as I had hoped and Heidi Tabing (Zelda) shone all the way through. Can't wait for the next project, even if I can't be involved. :)

This game's ending is one of the few things that makes me genuinely cry. It's so bittersweet and sad! And your dub only made it better and made me cry harder. Thank you, Zelda Universe, for making this dub. It could be improved, by far, but the way it is now, it's already breathtakingly amazing. Great job on this and I can hardly wait for Majora's Mask! Keep up the good work!
The scar on Demise's forehead looks like an "X" Or divine beast vah medoh from BOTW but the scar may be a result of the sealing spike

This was truly glorious! It broght a new life to the game for me.
...I just had a realization. The Triforce foresaw the revival of Demise in the past, and it was only for that reason that the Triforce brought the island, and subsequently Link, down to the Surface. If there was no chance of reviving Demise in the past, it would have just killed Demise on the spot and that would have been that. But, it saw that Demise would be revived in the past, and that Link would need to be there to fulfill the wish fully, and so it brought Link down to the Surface.
Man, the bad guys loved to monologue. On and on and on they went on how they would kill all those around. And then Demise (or Ganon) says, I have time to kill so I will let you do whatever you want to do before the game ends and we fight an epic battle. That was nice of him, lol.
