To increase mileage, try the following....
1) Use fully synthetic engine oil and you'll see a difference of 1.5-2 kmpl immediately
2) clean your air filter regularly
3) mileage has to do with engine RPM and not speed. Try to avoid driving below 1500 RPM and above 2200 RPM
4) Don't drive with a heavy clutch i.e half clutch.
5) while coasting, move to neutral gear
6) as far as possible, avoid the urge for quick acceleration

Excellent & bravo & great milage on a dry tank with one liter petrol 👍 I wish to have such a car which you drive, I own a 15 plus year Tata Indica V2 diesel which gives me the same performance & a mileage of 23 plus milage at times it has given me 30km/l very very low on maintenance & yet now I feel to go for a new vehicle which would take me on a long Bharat darshan drive from Bengaluru to ladakh & char-dham Yatra..I am a retired person in my early 60's, watching you closely will Tigor will fulfill my wish or should I go for a diesel bolero neo.. ❤️

I would say if you have a big family with people of height not more than 5.8ft than go for Bolero Neo because its rear seat has space issue. Else Tigor is there always at lesser cost for a long term wonderful experience 🙂

It's a great genuine mileage review, the fact why MID and real mileage doesn't match because there would be some petrol left in the tank and lines even if the car doesn't start because as the pressure is low, system would cut off the supply to prevent damage to fuel pump and injectors. On highway in eco mode it gives 23-24 kmpl (automatic climate) while in cities and traffic jam it gives a decent mileage of 14 kmpl (eco mode with automatic climate) with no sudden acceleration. The figure climb down to 19 kmpl and 10 kmpl on city mode with sudden takeover and rapid acceleration. All I have learnt from driving experience is that driving style is the biggest reason for poor mileage. But for Hyundai (not offending anyone) using ac is the main culprit.

I think all the Tigors have the error of 3 kmpl difference from actual milage.

Hello Ashish Sir, 23.2 kmpl is very decent mileage considering weight of this car.
Please share your experience about without a break how many kilometres journey you have done with this car on highway? And do you or other co passengers felt any discomfort (in terms of comfort, suspension etc.) during that ride?

Rohit I have driven this 250kms without any break and did not feel discomfort and neither my co-passanger because its seats are very soft and under thigh support is brilliant. My friend who owns Honda City agreed with me that Tigor seats are more comfortable than Honda City. Suspensions are at stiffer side to maintain its weight. But gives good handling and ride quality on highway.

I have an automatic version .In city I get 9 km/l but tecently I travel 1700km in Maharashtra and Karnataka I got 17km/l at average speed of 80km/h!! Fantastic! Enjoy driving this wonderful car. Thank you, Tata Motors.

Tigor mileage more than my celerio. Amazing. My celerio returns a mileage of 22 kmpl on highway.
Nahin Jis tareeke se unhone test kiya hai aap bhi karke dekhiye. Khali jagah, smooth roads. Aur band hone ke baad bhi chali
2-3kmpl milage decreased just because of ignition time engine consumption of fuel due to empty tank and higher air pressure due to lower fuel quantity which do not hit at the time of tank to tank test.
After all, it's an equal milage of tank ful test. Good Test. Kudos...👌

Mene xz cng lee h 28 ka milage aya h highway pe 6.5 kg me 180 chali gadi ko 100 ke upar hi chalaya adhikatar or maximum 140 bhi chlaya h journey start ki tab gadi 120 km chli thi

Hi have bought trigor XZAplus April 2021, on highway it gave me average of 22.5 in mid. Travelled 400km.
But in city it gives only 8.5km.

@@TFreak1 I am proud owner of Tata Indigo (since 2009). I think nothing matches with the beauty and ride quality of a Sedan. But I am confused between Tigor and Dzire. However I am more attracted towards Tigor because it has amazing design, attractive looks, more boot space than Dzire. Also, it has hydraulic tailgate which doesn't interfere with luggage. My only concern is engine vibrations inside cabin and after sales service

in this average difference may be few ml fuel left below fuel pump because tank to tank result were accurate

Jay bhai Haan thda cabin mein noise aata hai but kyunki iske Shockers stiff hai highway par gaadi vhupak kar chalti hai. Jin gaadiyon mein soft Suspension hota hai usme gaafi joule khati rehti hai tez speed par.

Gear shift indicator showing 5 means you were at 4th gear at top speed?
If its showing 5 with an indicator up that means you need to switch to 5th gear.

Both car has same engine. Go for Tigor due to additional boot space.
CNG is better since you end up getting some additional boot space.

Sandesh mileage completely depends upon how u drive. Considering natural aspirated engine Tigor will give more mileage compared to Altroz.
