What a legend.. this deadwoodjedi. This video was so fluid between the both of you. Not to put down other content creators (because they have duel videos and they are not fluid).. but you both nailed this video and it was extremely entertaining with very few pauses or awkward silences. Love seeing you both throwing down in the same video. Fayne is a great replacement for Draco... I use her, and I'm 50-58m each run. Just in case your viewers wanted a more f2p option :)
I love that this video addresses players that are still working through Clan Boss on Hard or Brutal. It's not as helpful to watch videos where all of the suggested team makeups are legendary/epics. Sometimes it's nice when content creators focus on what abilities to look for. Then highlight other champions who are more attainable and have those abilities.
I think it can be hard to focus on which teams to build up, especially when you're F2P, or a very minimal spender.
You're one of my favorite "how to" guys. I appreciate the way you break down certain aspects of the game and make it more fun to build a team with what you have.
this might be the best collab video i have ever seen. There was no awkwardness and the conversation just flowed naturally.

Such a great conversation. Really helpful the way you get Deadwood to explain the concepts and champs to us laity, since he's so used to the material that it can seem impossible to get a handle on. I would say my biggest mistake, looking back, was not getting into clan boss side of the game sooner. The rewards for UNM chests are amazing between shards and books and really helps boost all the other areas. I think I was too dungeon centric initially. Granted farming gear to be able to do well in CB and Arena is crucial, but once I had decent gear long before I got my first CB unkillable up and running. I wish you talked more about Roshcard with him, and that's and unkillable that might be easier for some to pull because pulling two maneaters is so hard. I still don't have one of them. I love my new Rosh Skullcrusher Doompriest 2 key NM comp. ...I got the importance of Arena/Great Hall early on, but really missed CB. It seems most players really gravitate in one direction of the other, but they are both totally essential and really have a symbiotic way of blessing each other reciprocally. Sorry for the tome, but wanted to share. JZ
If you already have good gauntlet, chest or boots pieces of other sets, you can use them and go for weapon, helm,shield + 1 of the others.
That;s the easiest way to build 4 pieces sets, and still have great % stats, that's a way to build your Shield set for your support for outside Clan Boss content. You can find excellent shield set pieces and even lifesteel and speed(if you can't find) in the market too.
Such an episode! Absolutely loved it! You two guys are by far the best when it comes to balancing being educative with being entertaining. Pro stuff.
I felt like watching a great podcast while learning strategies to prepare for my slow but patient transition from early mid-game to end-game.

PS: Watching you guys will be my new totem to open shards!!! JESUS I Pulled Skullcrusher, Steelskull, and a Maneater from 2 void and 10 ancient shards! The greatest pull I have ever had. Great CB potential there. (I pray I pull another Maneater or Painkeeper for that 50 turn run to become possible, fingers crossed)
Needed to use Seeker’s a2 on the first round so you can avoid that stun. You’ll be at one key in no time
Good collab! I've always used seeker in clan boss ever since I pulled him, I use him in several situations for his turn meter and attack buffs.

loved this video. Super helpful guide for building this team with a 1 turn setup. Had this video saved for when i got my 2nd maneater.
can confirm flesh tearer can be really useful in the right team composition. if you have valkyrie then onbviously hes almost god-tier cause he will extend both the counter attack AND the massive shield for another turn, which makes valk sooooo much easier to speed tune around. if you then add in an increase def, block debuff champ and ideally even an ally protection, his value goes through the roof. PLUS he can be the missing ingredient to make an attack down champion viable if the debuff is not on their a1. like a lightsworn. and on top of it all he will extend the poisons for an extra turn. massive potential, if you can keep him alive.
When DwJ mentions how good Vergis is and I find him in my inventory: 👁️👄👁️
Ash? I could use some input. Out of Three Legendaries Scyl of the Drake's, Vizier Ovelis or Lanakis the Chosen. It's my only three Leggos who should I give my Leggos Books to out of them three? Or should I hold off and hopes of a different Legendary Champion down the road?

Deadwood Jedi is a cool guy. He has a good channel and he is like the only UA-camr that will answer your questions in the comment section. Every Raid player should be subscribed to his channel especially if they are into clan boss.

I never imagined that when I finally broke down, after all those accursed Raif Shadow Legends ads on UA-cam and tv, and finally downloaded and tried this game out, that I would get SO addicted to this game that I spend and hour watching a video about Clan Boss builds.
You were right, Ash. I did love this video. Would've liked it twice if I could. Super fresh, love the in depth and "off the beaten path" approach.

Very cool,love that ash you admitted when DJ etc start saying we will do an 4,3 xyz you feel overawed by it,that is a truth many might have been too insecure to say being cc but not ash,we needed that because it steered convo to what we the ordinary (esp ftp) ppl need.

Great video, atm I am not worried about cb, I'm 3-4 keying brutal with Raglin, Warlord, Occult Brawler, Apothecary, and Tayrel
and not all of them are 6s yet, so masteries will boost my damage up for nm and that's when I can start speed tuning

37:07 Can Seeker be substituted with Ariber? Or does Seeker's 'Grants an Extra Turn.' is necessary for the comp?

Hey ash, love your videos and check on the every day. I have ten levendaries and 15 epics all up to lvl 60 and a ton at 50 level. But I can't get far on anything. And it seems like because of lack of books. I've made it to gold 4 on arena and nightmare on clan boss. I have Marshall booked out,, but no one else.. working on booking uugo out now.. should tell you im f2p. Any suggestions?

I just want to mention that when i face the green affinity CB i have to use Reliquary Tender or Doompriest just to clense the debuff of Painkeeper and because none of them is built for CB they dont do any damage but Bulwark extends FB's poisons so much that i do 30 mil with basicly 4 champs. FB doing 22-24 mil if Bulwark extends alot...
Revive on death still works right? Is it possible to run a 2x crimson helm, warcaster, draco, martyr as like a counter unkillable if the CH's and warcaster are on 4:3 ratios?? I cant figure out the calculator at all...

Poison can only do around 25m if you get 10 counters to round 25m. Dunno why it's preferred over massive raw dmg

Tweh, Yeah, they're right guys...Aothar is an attack champ but i put defense gear on him because i just need his abilities not damage but surprisingly he still hits hard...
I would say double maneater (246'248) with kreela, vizier and Draco is the best team in game.
My gear is "end game average" and I do 80m on UNM consistent.
Ok so I have been using(my current cb team) two kaels, apoth, sepulcher sentinel and frozen ban for awhile now but I do have Painkeeper, Seeker AND maneater. Who should I replace in my current team and in what order should they go?

Check out the Budget Unkillable team you might be able to build it already. It's on DWJ's website and he has some videos on it. I'll link one below. You only really need a single Maneater and Painkeeper. Then it uses someone assigned real slow to absorb the stun. I'm trying to get my first Maneater to build this one myself. I already have PainKeeper and am going to use Occult Brawler as my slow boi.

Hey Ash, can you show how you set up the masteries for this team in an upcoming video.
I personally think that DEF champs are a bit overtuned. Most games that I play balance defense with offense, so a DEF champ will simply do less damage then an offense toon. It gives those offense toons a bigger role in gaming. In Raid I feel like offense toons are pretty much sidelined unless they have an amazing support kit in addition to their "damage", especially since DEF toons can literally hit as hard as offense toons. it seems out of balance. But that may be just me. And I of course love my DEF Champs for the same reason others do. I just look at my Offense toons quite often and just wish that they were more attracrive.
Sir, I have a doubt does champions damage based on def or hp. do they need crit damage and crit rate to deal more damage?
So are we saying to go heavy on defense % gear even on attack based champions? Are they saying they’ll do less damage in the short run but more damage in the long run? Or are they saying go hard on defense on defense based champions?
Would renegade be a sufficient replacement for painkeeper?
Any way you could do a team build around Nethril or just an overall guide? New to the game and thanks again for all the work your doing on the guides, its helped me out huge.
I'll give you the basics.
He is a monster EVERYWHERE, his stats will matter on how you'll use him.
If you'll use him in Arena as a CC, only spd and acc would matter, crt rate, atk, and crt dmg would just be a bonus.
If you'll use him in CB, you'd have to manual for maximum dmg potential since he is an idiot who will use his useless skills in auto.
Stats would be def/atk (depending on comp, can be both if not using Unkillable, but def over atk if not using Unkillable), acc (very important), spd, crt dmg crt rate (not neccesary, but when you can, it's nice to have). Lifesteal set in, if you have a leech/insane healer champion, use Stalwart (optimal) or random pieces of gears that will give you the stats (if not in Unkillable)
Dungeons would be the same as CB but here, you're alright with not running gears that are necessary for CB.
Hope this helps, sorry if it's hard to read.

Hi Ash and Jedi, I fight with Kael, Frozen banschee, Romero , Juliana and Seeker by the clanboss in easy. The point is my clan is a couple of weeks inaktive, in the last week i was switched from Plarium to clan master. The last clan master was 21 weeks out of this game. I'm happy that i'm the clan master but it is boring alone fighting. I clean out the clan members list. I'm little bit pissed of becouse the clan was open for all and i ask people in server chat and they come in and catch the clanchest and going in after five minute out.
Has anyone who runs an Unkillable Clam Boss teams put a Fury set on their champs?!? I feel like this should work and SHOULD increase your clan boss runs.
If this has been team put together I would love hear if it works. I’m grinding Fire Knight and hoping it’s not a waste of my time.

i did same thing in arena, came down to vergis against my miscreated monster and kael, kael finally died and verg and mm couldnt kill each other, i left on auto for 15 minutes and they made no progress finally had to leave battle.

im finaly 4/5 keys nm clan boss :D with only 3 lv60 champs... and 2 lv50. (Tayrel, FB, Kael, Painkeeper and Skull crusher)

I'm playing in a handicap harem mode. Only female champions! Not being able to use Kael and Apothecary and Maneater definitely makes things a lot harder lol.
