What makes it unique is that a large portion of it is vegetarian and based upon the principles of ahimsa (non-violence) and Ayuveda. There is simply no other system like it. Yes there are amazing dishes and food in all countries (I love food from different countries too having travelled) but India is known worldwide as one of the best in the world.

I'm an Indian living in Peru and I feel my country has the best food in the world - I have travelled extensively! - and it's vegetarian which is even more amazing! 🙏
Almost every person thinks that about their country's food. Its the food that they have grown up with, gotten used to and have fond memories of.
@@PuroSubs Sorry but I don't feel so, India has a unique cuisine and it's why it can be found all around the world. What makes it unique is that a large portion of it is vegetarian and based upon the principles of ahimsa (non-violence) and Ayuveda. There is simply no other system like it. Yes there are amazing dishes and food in all countries (I love food from different countries too having travelled) but India is known worldwide as one of the best in the world.

Obviously an Indian will like Indian food the most. Japanese will like Japanese food the most. Korean will like Korean food the most.
Just because you like Indian food doesn't mean it's the best. It just means you're more comfortable eating Indian food because of familiarity. Chinese even after eating Indian food will still prefer to eat Chinese food because those tastes suit them better.

I fell in love with Indian Food when I was visiting. As a Vegan it was incredible.
Sad to say, I was robbed in Mumbai at the train station. The rest of the trip was fine
