Good video! I actually work where they film some of the Crown scenes (hampshire). London's history takes years of study because it's so deep, varied and complex. There's even preserved streets remaining underground. Still, for international visitors, remember there is so much more than London in England/U.K.
Great Vlog Guys. 60,000+ London streets and all different covering 2,000 years of history with ultra-modern, often next to each other! No one can see all of London in one lifetime. This 68-year-old has tried..and failed, miserably 😀
I know we have spoken before but in 1983,I could only bring myself to go 13 miles from Trafalgar Square and half a mile from the edge of S E London into Kent. I live 70 yards from 185 Acre Park and 2 miles from 245 Acre Park with 76 Open spaces within 7 miles yet 30 minutes from Charing Cross/Trafalgar Square.I went back last week and London is becoming unrecognizable especially the thousands of expensive apartments around The Elephant And Castle. Even I was shocked and some cost £1 Million. I wish I had bought my council flat for £12,000 in 1983 but not afford this ordinary house and that one. In the next month, I will go to Richmond Park, Kensington Gardens, Notting Hill, Camden and Hampstead and do the £9 Return Boat Trip from Greenwich to Westminster Pier. You live in a lovely part of the World though but even these Suburbs are ridiculously quiet having lived over a Market with Old Kent Road and Walworth Road at each end and London will always be this 68-year old's home. Now in my 7th decade of attending Millwall matches.
Wit a refreshing change to see some tourists ( in London or not ) begining their video at the square end of a typical London / English street, end terrace. Y`all ought to come alone over one day : It`s awful !
See it, Say it, Sort it is due to our delightful history of bombs on public transport during both the troubles and the Iraq wars periods Thankfully it's been a while. Glad it made you chuckle. The previous message was just BE ALERT. But kids used to write "your country needs lerts" after it.
As a Londoner I'd have to say don't do the London Eye, it's ridiculously expensive and a tourist trap. The boat trip is a lot better value and visit the museums at Kensington, The Natural History, The Science Museum and the V&A, they are all free entrance but pop a small donation in the boxes to help maintain them and keep them free for future visitors.
honestly after watching this video i seriously could not belive you have only 300 subs. the whole time i thought i was watching some big travel channel lol.
The tube/underground is never called the subway.....in the UK, a subway is basically a tunnel for pedestrians to go underneath the road to get from.one side to the other
As a 68-year-old Londoner, I have witnessed the enormous change. Outside the extraordinarily successful 200,000+ Jewish population, it was 98% White/British where I grew up 2 miles from Central London near Brixton and Peckham and I only live 13 miles from Trafalgar Square now(since 1983). I went back last week(I am only 1/2 mile from S E London postcode and million-pound flats are everywhere in the thousands of Gentrified new blocks near The Elephant And Castle. That area is totally unrecognisible.:)
So you never actually went to the City of London when you visited London ? Am talking Londinium the original Roman City and still independent of the rest of London. the richest place in the world per square foot.
Thank you so much for appreciating my country. Bravo friends.
We love it!
The 500 year old building found the corner from Buckingham Palace that you walked past was St. James’s Palace! Missed one 🤣

It is actually "See it, Say it, Sorted"!

London is my hometown and although I now live in beautiful Cornwall on the Atlantic,I’ll always be a Londoner.

I'm from the north of England and Londoners find me weird as I say hello and smile 😀

Yep, I was making a joke - thus the subway sandwich logo 😊
Great vlogs 👍
Glad you enjoyed
Looks like you started at Chadwell Heath?
Am I right??
Goodmayes is between Cadwell Heath and Seven Kings,I think though where was Ilford on that train line:)
I ❤ LONDON
London used to be the most quintessentially British of places now it is probably the least British place in the country.

The secret in Chinatown is to find a restaurant where there are Chinese people as customers, if Chinese people are eating, you know it's good.!!
haha yep!!!
Don't smile in London. The locals will think there's something wrong with you. 😄
Yep! lol
British Chinese food is the best in the world and it's very much part of British culture.
There is not such thing as a 'British accent'. The only English things in London are its buildings and its history.
There are about 50 different uk accents for sure more if you cont scots and irish accents.
As someone who used to live in England, I’m aware of the many different accents. This video isn’t really for British people though lol
@@TheOakFamTravel I lived in various parts of England & Scotland from 1990 till 2001, but I've managed to keep my somewhat anglefied Irish accent :)
@@aikighost yes ,my father lived in Africa for 50 years and still has his strong Glaswegian accent ,those strong accents never leave you
the only place in east London that you would find any English would be West Ham soccer stadium
Fucking foreigners Ned!
No, there is also...............actually you are right....:)
It is called football not soccer in the UK.

No it's NOT a hot dog, it's a SAUSAGE! Very different!
Nice joke about ‘eating at Starbucks’ 🤣 Although, their food can’t be worse than their awful (they cal it)… ‘coffee’.
Overpriced too 😂
1st day in London- Go to Paddington Station, see the Paddington Bear statue whilst there and then catch a train to Cardiff.
Just to let ypu lnow london isnt the uk london is its own thing
London is the capital of the UK
Using ‘like’ as a filler is very un-British.
Makes sense as we aren't British then!
Bro why you staying in the hood 😂
Had to get the full experience lol. No, we were staying with friends of ours!
Goodmayes/Chadwell Heath =The Hood ?? LOL

British flags can have connotations, but the English flag is mostly flown by racists.
Must be a lot of Racists in the north then lol. When I lived in the north I almost only saw English flags.
