    My favourite is the thunder tube, fun fact: the star wars laser sound was actually made in a similar way by using a giant spring.

    The rain stick actually becomes much more rich and rainlike as it gets longer. We have a couple in our band and I’ve found the 36” one to be my favorite.

      @strayiggytv 4 роки тому +2

      Agreed, my band director in highschool had one that was about 6ft long and when you turned it over it made the most lovely rain sound. It also went for a really long time.

      Man we never had one that long that sounds amazing

    I have used the “bloogle resonator” to teach kids about the overtone series - spin it faster and it will play higher, I have managed to play a couple bugle calls on one(very slowly!).

    Combine those three instruments with your death whistle and assemble a horror band. I'd love to see that.

    Sensual thunder tube was the name of my emo ska band in high school

  • @Aeduo
    @Aeduo 4 роки тому +3

    Someone should make an extra large version of that thunder tube and see how it sounds. Also that tube that you twirl around reminds me of twirling around the tube from the vacuum cleaner as a kid, and that always reminded me of all that you want by ace of base.

    I tried making a spring drum once.
    I then bought one because of my failure to DIY one.
    I also have a rainstick behind my chair.
    It’s literally larger than me.
    And I’m 5’ 0”.

  • @ejlyt9148
