Ok so I've bought this controller, used it for a day and now thinking about returning it cause it's not meant to use on laptop or PC. In order to fully utilise all functions of the controller, you'll need to configure DS4 windows which needs to be running in background all the time. Otherwise, the trackpad and gyroscope sensor won't work. The problem with that software is that it sets macros and some online game's anti-theft program may detect it as a cheating software and your account may get banned. (not 100% sure about it but am not taking risk). Using controller without that software is fine too but my biggest problem with that controller is that it doesn't come with its own dongle and hence i had to use it with laptop's inbuilt Bluetooth adapter. Now i use TWS while gaming which means 2 Bluetooth devices are connected with same adapter and that cause very serious lag issues while playing. I was so clueless for the first few hours of using the controller and thought that maybe the controller is faulty. Turns out that you can not use Bluetooth headphones/speakers/earphones if you wanna use that controller smoothly. The controller in itself is the best controller I've used so far but it's definitely not build to use on Windows. It's only for PS4!

I haven't returned the controller as i was trying my best to work it out and I have to bought a separate bluetooth 5.0 dongle/receiver as the one in my laptop is version 4.2. Now with the external receiver the controller is working without any input lag even if i connect two wireless devices at once. Now that's up to you if you wanna pay extra 600 INR for bluetooth 5.0. I'm still not using DS4Windows tho cause i got direct mail from customer support of the games i play that using any third party software may get my account banned.

@@shreyasdharashivkar8027 My personal opinion, i found these CosmicByte Xenon way better and premium than RedGear wireless Pro. The very first reason i ordered Xenon was because my RedGear wireless pro controller started to have auto-drifting issue in its left analog just after the use of 6 months. And before that i had the same RedGear controller but wired one. It lasted for an year and after that both of its analog started to have issue. I used to like RedGear controller but they've stopped manufacturing any new controller and still selling the old models which feels outdated. But the best thing about RedGear ones are that they come with their own dongle and you don't need to buy any external bluetooth receiver and also, i prefer the L1 and R1 buttons of RedGear ones as it's more convenient compare to Xenon. In Xenon, i've to assign L1 and R1 to back button and that's more comfortable compared to any controller.

I bought Lenovo legion 5 pro and played games on the mouse and keyboard, don't get me wrong it's absolutely amazing to play on that but I also wanted to play previous console games and was looking for a controller. Will give this a try.

@@sanskar6639 it looks and feels just like any other Xbox controller controller no doubt but I am not a fan of it so I returned it and now the ps5 original controller is on its way. Because not only you get the original with just 2k rupees more but also the dual sense support for the PS to PC games ported.
Till now I have played modern warfare, God of War, NFS heat and Far Cry 6 with the controller. But when compared with a PS5 controller which my friend has (same games played over that platform) the PS is better choice.
Plus when I bought the controller it was already 3300 so additional extra 2000 is worth it in my opinion.

You haven't mentioned about the joystick accuracy while playing shooting games. How is it compared to the original ps4 controller? Bcs most of these controllers have horrible stick accuracy for shooting games
Its bad the dead zone is a bit too much for atleast my liking. But for some reason when I connect it with my laptop using DS4 the dead zone decreases to a normal level maybe there is some kind of button that I am missing or something in the PS mode I don't know
The controller is best for ps only because for pc you have to purchase a dongle reciver the wireless option doesent work in game

Got this controller today... 2024 version has type C port for charging...which is a +1 and you just need DS4 software to configure and it is hassle free premium experience... 10/10 buy

i bought cosmic byte ares controller after watching your video in February now its been 4 month and still using no problem and the battery backup is also insane as on one charge i easily able to play a week without charging (according to my schedule) and its literally feels premium wireless controller in just 1700rs at that time
and after watching this video i can easily say cosmic byte is really evolving like how they managed to give all features of ps controller with gyro sensor in just under 3000rs

The Customer care service of cosmic Byte is very bad. I had applied for warrenty claim for my 'cosmic byte interseller wired gamepad' (due to the left trigger stopped working). They took 6 days accept it. And within two weeks product got picked and reached to them. After 11 days, due to not getting any further update, I contacted their customer service centre then they told me the product is out of stock, i have to wait for another 40 to 60 days.

For folks looking for Gamepad for BGMI / PUB G - THIS WIL NOT WORK . BGMI itself doesn't provide support for Gamepad.
Hope this info helps. Also if someone got Cosmic Byte Stratos Xenon working , please do let us know , who you made it work for BGMI.. Thanks
There are gamepads for bgmi. I dont know whether this xenon controller will support bgmi but i do know controllers like evo gamepad pro 4 supports bgmi
