Ravens fan here. All I’m scared of is being let down again. I don’t trust our coaches to get us to a Super Bowl. We could’ve put up a better fight in the AFC Championship game last year and instead abandoned our entire identity. I hope we can do it though.

Ravens made the AFC championship game. That's pretty great. 49ers choked against the Chiefs too...twice. If the requirement for a good season is making a Super Bowl, that's a bit unrealistic. Ravens *should* make a SB, they clearly have the talent, but no one is really beating the Chiefs in playoffs. The only one that did was Cinci, and that was 3 years ago with a different roster than they have now. Everyone agrees they need to do better in playoffs, but you can't possibly say the Ravens won't be scary, they're undeniably 1 of the NFL's top teams.

Ravens fan here. All I’m scared of is being let down again. I don’t trust our coaches to get us to a Super Bowl. We could’ve put up a better fight in the AFC Championship game last year and instead abandoned our entire identity. I hope we can do it though.

Look, even as a Ravens fan myself, while I like what we have as a team, my biggest fear is still the same: health, and us tripping over ourselves. If this team has a glaring weakness, I'd say it's our pass rush. Right now, we still lack our primary edge rusher, which stings cause our AFC North rivals have "their guy" at that position. Oweh needs to break out, and fast, since Ojabo's injuries have prevented him from reaching his potential, and it's kind of unfair to expect Isaac to immediately make an impact like what Garrett and Watt have done (both are 1st round picks, Isaac was drafted in the 3rd round).
Not going to lie, even with all the talent on our team, I am always worried that we overthink things, and end up flat on our faces (and lose, as well). Plus, we have one of the toughest schedules, and the AFC North arms race means any of our rivals has a legit shot at the playoffs, and it can definitely come at the expense of the Ravens. Regardless, no matter what happens, I will always be a fan of this team.

Every year the Ravens are supposted to "scare you". Lamar Jackson is 2-5 in the playoffs the same as Dak who is universally agreed to be somewhere between good and mid. To any team with SB asperations regular season wins dont matter playoff wins do Lamar Jackson is tied for the worst playoff record with 7 or more games. The Ravens arent scaring anyone, because any team good enough to make the playoffs is good enought to beat the playoff Ravens.

Ravens made the AFC championship game. That's pretty great. 49ers choked against the Chiefs too...twice. If the requirement for a good season is making a Super Bowl, that's a bit unrealistic. Ravens *should* make a SB, they clearly have the talent, but no one is really beating the Chiefs in playoffs. The only one that did was Cinci, and that was 3 years ago with a different roster than they have now. Everyone agrees they need to do better in playoffs, but you can't possibly say the Ravens won't be scary, they're undeniably 1 of the NFL's top teams.

I see the Ravens as a wildcard, 6th or 7th seed. The Bengals will win that division if Burrow can stay injury free. The Ravens' run game is going to take a step back with Henry, who's old and has too many NFL carries, and there's nobody to speak of behind him on the RB depth chart.

@@Majority999 It's my opinion, don't take it personally. Yes, I'd take Edwards over Henry at this point. Edwards' career ypc is higher than Henry's. He's younger than Henry and he has much less mileage than Henry. The Titans rode Henry hard, they used him up, that's why they let him walk. Henry has three times the number of NFL carries as Edwards. He's washed, which the Ravens will learn soon.

Henry is still 10x faster and more explosive than Gus Edwards. He’s way more patient in the backfield, has way better vision. Derrick Henry averaged 4.2 ypc on 280 attempts with the 28th ranked offensive line in run block win rate. Edwards averaged 4.1 ypc on 198 attempts behind the 7th offensive line in run block win rate. That should tell you all you need to know.
