Don’t know a ton about other countries’ birds but from playing wingspan I’d love to see the European Bee-eater over in Europe or the Eastern Rosella in Australia
Such a cool video idea and so cool to see where people are watching the channel from! Also some extremely cool birds around the world. Really makes a birder want to travel
I’ve seen almost all 6 woodpeckers of the Netherlands, except for the wryneck and the Black woodpecker. It’s like my arch nemesis bird 😭 Hopefully I will see one in the Fochtloerveen next spring when they are the loudest
@@brighteyedbirding well I have a feeling the Wryneck will be harder lol. It has good camouflage and flies like a songbird instead of a woodpecker. But thank you very much!
Watching you from Turkey. Great videos. If you are ever here let me know and I will show you the spots for the Spoonbill. We have the Black Woodpecker but like you mentioned super elusive and I have not seen it. My favorites here are the European Bee-eater, common Kingfisher, and Blue Rock Thrush.
Great Video. Here in South Africa we have the African Paradise Flycatcher which looks similar to the Indian one. It arrives here as a Summer migrant.I would love to see some of the endemic ducks of New Zealand.
Hi again. I must apologise for my comment earlier today during my Hong Kong 🇭🇰 SAR morning time as it appeared very rushed and therefore I left out a lot of details as to why I recommend you to travel to Asia (Singapore 🇸🇬, Japan 🇯🇵, Malaysia 🇲🇾, Hong Kong 🇭🇰 SAR, and Taiwan 🇹🇼, and China 🇨🇳 ) to see birds in Asia. First of all, in northern parts of Japan during the winter seasons, you can see the nearly all-white version of the Long-tailed Tit, the Red-crowned Crane, and a host of other local Japanese birds you don’t see in America. In Japan 🇯🇵, Hong Kong 🇭🇰, and Singapore 🇸🇬 , and China 🇨🇳,you can see the Lesser Cuckoo, the Japanese White-eye as well as the Asian Tit (now grouped together with the Great Tit), more commonly known as the Cinerious Tit. In both Singapore 🇸🇬 and Hong Kong 🇭🇰, you can see a number of honey-sucking birds known as the Sunbirds. In Hong Kong 🇭🇰, there is only ONE 1️⃣ species of sunbird, the Forked-tailed Sunbird, whereas in Singapore 🇸🇬, there are at least six 6️⃣ different species of Sunbirds. Also, in both Singapore 🇸🇬 and Hong Kong 🇭🇰, you will get to see the Asian Koel (MALE and FEMALE), the White-breasted Waterhen, and the Common Myna. In Singapore 🇸🇬 alone, you will hopefully see the Scaly-breasted Munia, and several species of owls, as well as the Java Myna. In Singapore 🇸🇬 alone, you get to see a whole wide range of tropical birds never seen in the United States 🇺🇸, along with other birds like the Black-naped Oriole. In Hong Kong 🇭🇰 alone, you will also see the Oriental Magpies as well as the Red-billed Blue Magpie, both very majestic! In Taiwan 🇹🇼, you must catch your chance to see the Taiwan Blue Magpies. Another magnificent bird. I hope I have encouraged you to travel to Asia more often to see these birds. 😉😉😉
I love these top 5 videos btw! They are really entertaining
Thanks so much! I appreciate you saying that!!
