As an accordionist I have to agree with you, but also finnish waltzes and jenkkas are awesome compositions. Speaking of Viljo Vesterinen, by far my favorite accordionist, pieces like Soittajan Kaipuu, Kaukomaita Kohti, Mandshurian Kukkuloilla (Shatrov's waltz played in F#m), Sirkkojen Tanssi and Säkkijärven Polkka are incredible compositions that sadly are forgotten.
He made that accordion sing, everything is immaculate. From not missing a single note, to the emotion he conveys, the speed, the bass, not to mention his style adds so much character to the song. This is a masterpiece.
Jesus Christ this this unironically the most impressive accordion performance I've ever seen, and will probably ever see. I can only hope to get this good in my entire lifetime of effort.

My Grandfather gifted me one of his accordions and it opened up a world of new music performances for me and of everything I've found this is by far my favorite and also the absolute best playing of any song. Truly masterful and I aspire to hopefully play even half as well someday and make my grandpa proud
