This was one of the best games I watched in a LONG TIME
Kiki Iriafen, a Stanford legend with 41/16 & the win. She's the program's first player with 40pts/15rebs (or a 40-piece) in an NCAA tournament game since Jayne Appel in 2009 -- also against Iowa State. Kiki has been overlooked a lot of this year mainly because of playing in the PAC-12 and Stanford getting no national TV games. I’m so happy people across the country now see how amazing she is. Biggest reason Stanford has a chance in any game is her not just Cam who is also incredible.

This young lady kiki iriafen is no joke she's very good she's very patient at her shot selection and she doesn't miss many shots she will fix you in that paint she's unstoppable. All i see is tim Duncan fundamentals from kiki iriafen
Stanford fan here that is so grateful for this team keeping it together and fighting till the end! Kiki was outstanding! The energy in Maples was amazing! My heart was racing the entire game.
The team played incredible defense, but I will have nightmares about Emily Ryan shooting step back 3's like Curry for a while.

No doubt! It's been a joy to watch ISU dominate the court this year, finally taking some attention from CC and the Hawkeyes. It's nice that the spotlight aimed so large at Iowa this year. These ladies have nothing to be ashamed of no matter the outcome on the scoreboard. That was a game of legends. Congrats to your Cards!
You think THEY played well..? ONLY TWO played basketball last night... the IA FRESHMAN POINT GUARD... and KiKI... the rest were AWFUL. Amazing no one was Killed by the the STILTS from Stanford... All they had to do was run to the basket and DROP it in... NO REAL ATHLETES ! WAY TO TALL.

All she can do is backdown girls smaller than her cause she’s 350 pounds. The Stanford girls are tall and long so she couldn’t get clean looks and that’s the extent of Audi crooks game. She’s just a obese merchant like you’d play against in 8th grade bball

Incredible game! I expected Stanford to win, but would've never guessed it would've taken overtime for it to happen. I had no idea Iowa State was that tough of a team to beat.
Honestly, all of the teams that make the tournament are good/skilled (generally). It just depends on the day each team is having. Even SC isn't untouchable, even though everyone thinks they are.

It was a classic until Iowa St took an obvious dive at the end. At no point was Stanford threatened with elimination when, under normal circumstances, the heavy underdog is going to hold for a three every time.

If the refs didn’t kick Brink out I feel like this game would’ve been more comfortable for Stanford. When she was in the game Stanford’s defense was incredibly effective at slowing Iowa St. down.
All she had to do was head fake hopefully she will learn that for the future heck brinks probably would have fouled out a lot sooner

I'm a real Fan of Caitlin Clark and women's college basketball , but now I've got another women to follow #55 MS. Crooks I watched her score her best performance in her history 40 pts I couldn't stay seated in my chair and was screaming like a little kid . all I can say to her is thank you for adding your name to be a fan of in your future .

I mean, Shaq didn't dominate the paint because of his athleticism, but because of his physical attributes. I didn't know anything about any of the players (am not from the US, so I get exactly 0 media coverage of US college sport) and I think Crooks does move quite well for a woman of her size.

Not everyone knows that Crooks was the state H.S. champ in both shot put and discus. Both field sports require excellent balance and footwork.

It’s not really popular over here, people just don’t understand why Americans are obsessed about college sports, but I’m a March madness fanatic!! The best time in sports (unless the Knicks or Steelers win a chip 🤣). The drama, excitement, meltdowns, there’s just something about winning or going home that makes it the greatest event ever!!!

Texas Fan here.... I love that Iowa State Team... They are something else. What a game, I want to tell the Iowa State girls that a lot of us Texas Fans were cheering them on. Those Freshman on that team are incredible and they have a great future ahead of them.. I don't think we are too sad, not to have to play them next year during conference play. While we will be in the SEC. I will continue to cheer them on to win the Big 12 next year. :) Hook em

It was a fake foul on Brink because of the WAY Crooks fell and put a pothole in the floor. Now the league is prioritizing how dramatic the fall looks.
