Josh, I’m a 17 year old junior in high school based out of san diego trying to start a business in car detailing in order to help support my family. I’m currently pinching pennies to try and purchase the equipment you review while I find a place to really learn about how to take care of cars as well as you do. I just wanted to drop a comment and idolize you for all the work you put in trying to find products that benefit everyone who lionizes you. Seriously one of the most professional and humble business owners. Amazing content. Thank you
@@OptimumCarDetailgood advice but you can't just tell what he is or is not doing about the "pinching pennies" I started young detailing too and I definitely was "pinching pennies" also. He could already have a job and have money but is trying to make that money amount work for what he's trying to achieve. I definitely relate to that.
Since cost is an issue for you go for the best bang for the buck options, there are tons out there. Don’t get caught up by the detailing snobs that always have to have the latest and greatest. Find what works and use it a lot is the saying. The most expensive option isn’t always the best, in fact it rarely seems to be these days. For a pressure washer don’t waste money on all the junk that’s out there. Matt from OG did a massive test on all the pw’s out there and proved most is junk. There’s a reason Josh recommends the Ryobi, which is one of the cheapest out there. Under $200 only get the Ryobi or Karcher. Under $400 the active. Everything else, like the Adams he just reviewed, is just rebranded junk and a waste of your time and money. For the hose get the Uberflex/flexzilla as Josh said.

You are by far my favorite reviewer and I have learned so much from you! I’ve watched so many and I have built my confidence up enough that I have decided to start detailing as a side business
100% I stumbled upon a video and have been watching since. I have bought some equipment because of his video reviews (Uberflex hose for example) I love the honesty in the reviews.
I saw one of your reviews on the uberflex and ordered it the same day. It’s been through constant use and still looks like new and the best hose I’ve used. Thanks for the video Josh!
Just started assembling my detail setup thanks to your videos! Just recently purchased a new *black* truck and want to do my best to keep it nice and shiny, at least for a little while haha
The Adam's has been my choice now for 2 years, but I have the 60 footer. I just bought a second one last week. I also love how it is self winding on the ground when I pull it in. I don't use a reel because it is effortless. Great video as always.
+1 on the Adams 60’, 1/4”. 3/8” is unnecessary in 90% of usage, IMO. Adam’s is steel braided as well. Perfect for the AR630. Active 2.0 does not recommend UberFlex or Flexilla.
I used a Kobrajet for 10 years. Still in near perfect shape. But it weighs a ton. I switched to the Uberflex, (on your recommendation) and never looked back. I would never switch back to a heavy hose again. Thanks for the great review.
Just what I needed, my dogs just recently got ahold of my PW hose and now I'm in the market of purchasing a NEW one. This video REALLY Helps out. Thanks again on a Great Video. Now I believe my kids when they say " The DOGS did it".🙄
Man just going off weight alone, the Uberflex is king. Coupled with the quick connect kit it sounds like the top contender. Enjoying this channel very much.
I’m a DIY detailer. I’ve been detailing cars for family and friends for over 30 years. About a decade ago I stepped up my game and bought my first pressure washer. Then came UA-cam. I picked up lots of techniques and better tools and chemicals. The last replacement hose I bought was significantly better than the original one but it still has memory kinks. I would love to add the Adam’s hose to my setup. No more kinks would be awesome.
Josh got lots of hose, is what I took from the 100 ft comment- Jokes aside these videos are incredible and packed with useful information and no extra fluff. I'm just washing my 86 and my girls car in the driveway, still appreciate you reviewing a spectrum of products. Happy washing my dudes!

nice comparisons, I currently use the uberflex hose(red in color), but now I am totally interested in trying that Adams hose...keep up the great work and sharing your knowledge 🫡
@IMJOSHV love the videos man! I really like that you usually demo a "value" option. So many channels demo the high end products (which is fine) but not all of us can afford a $1200 pressure washer or a $150 hose. Thanks for always keeping it real.
I’m up in ND now and while washing time has drastically been reduced, when I do get a chance, that cold weather is chaos on my stock PW hose. These would be awesome! Thanks Josh!!
First timer here and your reviews have been so helpful in making the right choices. I am sold on the Uberflex and it is the final piece to the puzzle. Thanks!
I ran into your videos, and have come to enjoy and appreciate it. The reviews are straight forward and honest. I’m a DIYer but thinking of going into maybe a side business as I wash vehicles for family and friends and grabbed a few attachments based on your videos and love them. Great video on these hoses! The Adam’s or Uberflex seems like a great buy for a DIYer!
Best car detailing UA-cam site ever. I have learned so much on car detailing from your posts over time. Also, being local in San Diego makes it that much more special. Keep up the great work on UA-cam. Love your posts.
100% agreed. Made a lot of purchases based on his reviews. Current setup is an Active 1.0, uberflex and the MJJC foam cannon. A lot of The Rag Company microfibers and a mix of different chemicals. Technicians Choice is among my favorite. Easy to use and works awesome.
I "started" a detailing business for like friends and family, but I have run into a major problem, apparently I have done so well that now other people would like my services lol. I detailed a car this past Saturday and spent more time fighting the hose than actually washing the car. A new hose would be amazing! Thanks for these test videos, I'd I don't win I at least know exactly what I need to buy
Hi josh i’m from Houston ima start my detail business really soon and i been watching a ton of your videos to learn more and more about the business so i really appreciate all your content🩷
Hey Josh based on your past recommendations I got an Uber hose for my detailing needs. Best decision thanks for all the real world detailing recommendations.
I love the way ImJoshV explains everything thorough enough and concise. I have the Uberflex after I’ve followed this Channel. In my opinion, the extra 10ft for my situation is worth buying quick disconnects.
Hi josh I’m 17 and had to drop out of school due to financial problems. My way of helping was to start detailing I saw your videos as well as some other and inspired me to start my business. So far I managed to get In contact with a dealership who is currently the only work I’m getting. I got banned on Facebook and can’t post my ads anymore, it Was my main source when it comes to getting clients. I’m on a budget for my detailing supplies, I don’t have the best but they do the job.
I've started using the "Over/Under" technique anytime I coil up a hose, cable, or cord since it completely eliminates the twisting. This way you can connect one end and just pull the other end out without any risk of kinks or twists. There's a little bit of a technique to it, but it's not hard and there are tons of UA-cam videos on how to do it. I even use it for any of my Ethernet patch cords that are longer than 6' - it's just automatic now.
I got the uberflex a while back when you recommended it and love it been wanting to upgrade my work one as well. Appreciate the awesome reviews and generosity of doing regular giveaways to the community 👍

@imj0shv I would definitely love to get your input on how to even begin. I have a passion for cars and detailing but I always think I will fail. Not a good way to start of course.
@iamjoshv have to say I really appreciate your channel, the content/info you provide and your presentation. You provide pertinent info while being able to explain why/how you came up with your opinion. There are other channels out there that claim to be “obsessed” that are full of it while telling viewers to just trust them while providing none of the things you provide. Keep it up. 👍
I think we see a clear winner! I really like that UberFlex hose. My current hose on my 4 YEAR OLD Portland pressure washer is almost toast. It kinks a lot now. That UberFlex would be awesome in my setup!
The Uberflex is fine for DIY use with low flow/low pressure, pressure washers. However even for DIY use, if you have more than one pressure washer, or have multiple PSI/Flow needs, I'd go with the KobraJet. For instance I have 2 electric pressure washers, a max 2.3gpm/2300 PSi unit, and a max 2.0gpm/2700 PSI unit. Then I also have a gas powered belt driven 4.0gpm/4200 PSI unit. The gas powered one came with a really stiff 50' steel braided hose. The two electric units came with 25' Uberflex hoses. If I wanted to get a single hose that'll work with all of them, KobraJet would be my go-to...with which I can always use the other hose to extend the reach if I need to.
Great review Josh. I have the Uberflex based on your recommendation and I love it. I think the weight of the hose is the most important factor here. Having to unwind them, move it around the vehicle constantly and then wind it back up will be much more tiring with the heavier hose. Thank you.
Been trying to get back into taking care of my babies both in the garage and in the driveway so your videos have been really helpful, the rain we’ve been getting in San Diego has got in the way of that a bit but I’ve learned so much already watching your stuff. 🤙🏽
Love your videos Josh. I'm looking to start my own detailing business and watching your vids allows me to make the best choices to get the best bang for buck.
Seeing a new video from your channel in my UA-cam feed is always exciting. Been eyeing a new hose for a while. I do have a Uberflex, but's it's only 25' so getting behind the car is a little tough, even an extra 10' would be a huge improvement. Thanks as always.

Thanks for doing this review as I was thinking of changing/upgrading my current hose too! Now you've answered that question and my question on 3/8" vs. 1/4"!
got the uberflex based on josh's recommendations in prior videos. super happy. just recommend a gold ball on the tires cuz it'll catch when you walk around
I love my uberflex hose since I watched the program about uberflex but I do love the way the Adam's hose looks plus I like a lot of Adam's products thanks Josh for another great video
There are so many comments that I can’t tell if someone has mentioned this or not yet so, sorry if they have! I passed by the Hart brand 35’ hose today at Walmart, and saw it’s actually an uberflex (per the stamped writing on the hose)! Snagged it up immediately and I’m super stoked. Good info for anyone not wanting to drop $50 but wanting the quality
@@imjoshv the Hart is also black; I’ve seen some Walmarts still have the Black Max branded ones but seems like they’re slowly migrating to the Hart ones primarily. Hell of a deal though
All three hoses look great. Way better than the stock hoses that come with most pressure washers. I was choosing between the Active (Simonize version from Canadian Tire) and the Ryobi 1800, and went with the cheaper Ryobi that came with the surface cleaner for free deal. Saved a good chunk of change and the hose isn't bad, but too short at 20ft.
Josh you got me so into DIY car washing. And I am so additive to your videos. I have never tried the Uberflex hoses but they surely got the best value! Wish me luck to become a winner! 😂
I use an uberflex red on my "gas clean around the home" pressure washer and just love it. Still deciding what hose to purchase for electric car detailing setup. Great video. Nice additional bit of information on what is available. I still have about 2 months to make a decision before the weather in the northeast is warm enough to turn the water on in my unheated garage.
Josh not complaining but using your suggestion I bought a FlexZilla 5/16 hose for my active 2.0 only to find out the unit surges badly with this hose so I went back to Amazon and found a 5/16 braided hose for about the same price with quick connects already installed with one having a swivel. Unit works great now.
I’ve gotten quite a few chemicals after watching your reviews and I recently picked up the Active 2.0 based on your videos and comparisons. Love the advice and thoroughness of your reviews. I’m looking to upgrade my stock hose to a longer one and will be getting an MJJC foam cannon at some point in the future.
I bought a POHIR 3/8 50ft from Amazon a year ago. But I regret not followed your suggestion and bought Uberflex. My Greenworks pressure washer I bought following your videos. But then, I bought POHIR because I thought a sturdy hose would be better. The problem is that POHIR is so hard that is more difficult to move with that hose. Uberflex is so lightweight and easy to move. I’m now thinking on getting a 50ft Uberflex

Another great video! I have had it fighting the factory P.O.S. hose. I learn so much from all of your videos. Thanks!!!
Love your videos Josh. I'm looking to start my own detailing business and watching your vids allows me to make the best choices to get the best bang for buck.
I’ve bought the Uber flex and the quick connect you suggested from watching previous videos great content
Thanks! Yeah i love that setup!!
Seeing a new video from your channel in my UA-cam feed is always exciting. Been eyeing a new hose for a while. I do have a Uberflex, but's it's only 25' so getting behind the car is a little tough, even an extra 10' would be a huge improvement. Thanks as always.
@ClickOnProfile186 Nice try....you're not IMJOSHV. Get out of here, scammer.

Love the videos, Josh. Always top notch and very engaging. Love the Uberflex, but any of these in that length would help improve my driveway car wash experiences. Thanks for all you do.
New subscriber here. I slept at 5am watching your videos
It’s crazy all the new products that come out!
Thanks for doing this review as I was thinking of changing/upgrading my current hose too! Now you've answered that question and my question on 3/8" vs. 1/4"!
Great content! I usually take your advice when making detail purchases. Keep up the good work!
Just purchased my dad a new pressure washer and this would be an awesome addition to it!!!
thanks for another great review. Really liking that adams hose. TBH 40ft is more than enough for most when car detailing.
got the uberflex based on josh's recommendations in prior videos. super happy. just recommend a gold ball on the tires cuz it'll catch when you walk around
Great review Josh. Ive had my adams pressure washer and adams hose for 3 years now and going strong. I like how they upgraded from brass to SS
Just a weekend warrior here battling the brutal stock Ryobi hose on the daily lol. One of these upgrades would be amazing! Great video as always!
Yea it used to be under their black max brand but now it with hart! What. The black max one was black, what color is the hart?
@@imjoshv the Hart is also black; I’ve seen some Walmarts still have the Black Max branded ones but seems like they’re slowly migrating to the Hart ones primarily. Hell of a deal though
Josh is killing it with the content.
Thanks for your honest reviews. The only gut on youtube who can throw his favorite hose into a tangled mess!! hahaha
Josh you got me so into DIY car washing. And I am so additive to your videos. I have never tried the Uberflex hoses but they surely got the best value! Wish me luck to become a winner! 😂
I’m impressed with the adams one keeping up with the other two. All seem like good quality
Awesome giveaway Josh. Always appreciate your feedback on all detailing products.
You always have great videos on new detailing items. Love it
I’m looking at getting a pressure washer for my vehicles this spring. A new hose would be perfect. Thanks for all you do.
Another great review Josh. I have a red Uberflex, to match my Craftsman pressure washer, because of your suggestion and tests. Keep up the great work
I'm digging the Adam's Superflex, thanks for the video, super informative.
I find the Uberflex is light tends to get more loops when moving around the car, Nice practical review as always Josh . Thanks
Nice video, glad to hear the winner of the last prize went to a young start up!
Always enjoy your vids, valuable information for the everyday non professional detailer
Another great review Josh. Having a 50ft hose I can see the benefit.
New Hose! Just started my new detailing business, Ultimate Gloss Detailing. Another hose would be great! Thanks for all the content!
Great video Josh! I have been planning to upgrade my Ryobi hose.
