You my guy....you are ruining my spare time. I love this tiny changes that make a huge impact visually. It shows that you care about the reports, the work you provide and want the best experience in any possible way. I'm starting to regret learning power bi from other sources rather than you. THANKS A LOT BAS. Keep up the amazing work. 😁
I'm using this in my reports since a while. My use case is, that for "new to powerbi" people, I"ve created some "GIFs" from screen recordings, in order to show how to create bookmarks, or use a visual like the decomposition tree....etc ;)
I am from Brazil, so my english isn't the best, but I would like to tell you that, even in another country and in the another hemisphere, you have helped me to improve my projects in Power BI. Thank you man!
Your stuff is sooo unique. Not boring simple examples but something that we can’t find in any BI course. Short and very good presented, as well as for people with not the best english. I am so happy that i found you. THANK YOU!!!
Every one of these power bi videos gives my reports a significant upgrade, thanks so much! With the ongoing pandemic I've missed in-person BI meetups like SQL Saturday, but channels like this on youtube have allowed me to really level up my reports.
My favorite application is the beautiful moving background. So simple, but really sells the website feeling for leadership power bi report. Thanks for sharing!
I normally dont comment on youtube videos. But i’ve got to say, your videos are absolutely AMAZING!!! I havent come across a single one where i can say this video doesn’t seem too useful! They are all brilliant! Also, not many people on youtube have successfully tackled the design side of Power BI. Yours are the best i’ve seen. Thank you so much for sharing this content! I do have some questions for you. What is your thought process? How do you come up with these fantastic ideas? How do you conceptualize them and put them into action?
As written before, I love your videos. They helped me immensely with Power BI. I'm only sorry that I can not send you thanks in my current (financial) situation. As soon as I get myself back on track, I will definitely catch up! Promise! I can only repeat myself again and again and say thank you!
C'mon guys, send the man a "SuperThanks", he deserve it! If everyone that just post a message, sends (at leasr) the smaller donation, is a strong way to recognize his work, and how much it helps us all!
Fantastic video! Those are some solid innovative ways to improve the visual presentation of your report. Though, honestly, that tooltip one is game changing! I love the idea of being able to have an animation for a tool tip, especially since many of my clients are not the most tech savvy. Thanks for sharing your knowledge!
Amazing ! Love how you pay close attention to the presentation of the report-something a lot of report devs don't do! For me, I believe a report *has to look good* ! Great use cases for gifs as well. 👍🏾
Very good Bas, you keep innovating giving life to the reports, I love your videos, they are inspiring to make reports, thank you very much for your contribution, greetings
Incredible, you do a very good and unique job in the market. Of the content UX for Power BI it is by far the best. Greetings from Argentina and congratulations
Great video! I am trying to create my own GIF in PowerPoint for a navigation button following all the steps of the video, but the first frame always turns out all black. Does anyone know how to solve this?
@@HowtoPowerBI Just a token of my thanks. Your videos are an absolute masterclass and have helped upgrade my reports no end. Keep up the fantastic work!
This is a great idea. I published all of my teams dashboards to an App. I’m thinking about redesigning our landing page to use a Gif instead of just “Landing Page” text on a boring background. I’ll create an animated landing page gif using PowerPoint 🤩
Great video! thanks. Only a question: in the mobile view the gif (in this case svg, the same blue wave that you used) in not viible....is it not support?
Is anyone else experiencing terrible gif quality when viewing in a published report or app in the online service? Quality is perfect when viewing in desktop or in SharePoint but viewing in the online service lowers the quality to the point I can't even use the gifs 😢
I made I gift using power point and chose transparent background but when I inserted into power bi button fill it still shows background I don't know why?!
Hi BAS thanks for your effort making these videos. Very appreciate ❤️ Hope someone can help me. I add a gif wallpaper from a .ppt as Bas explains in the video. However the dimension of my .pbix became enormous (from 4 to 45 mb 😮). So I’ve erased the wallpaper, but the dimension remained the same 😢 Is there any “blind memory” in .pbix that I need to clear? Thanks guys.
Great video, really cool stuff. You can also make one enhancement for even more transparency for button. You can actually create measure like: "Transparent = "#FFFFFF00" and used it for fill color to get transparent background :)
Hello!!! great video, make the wallpaper with a GIF you make in Power Point, however when you post to Power BI online, the GIF doesn't display. Do you know what could be due?
Hi, it seems you have a lot of experince with graphics in pbi :-) I'm trying to insert base64 encoded animated pngs which are stored in a SQL server, but I have the problem that only the first pictureframe is shown with no further animation :-( I#m using the visual "simple image" maybe you have an idea how to solve this problem?
I'm new to Power BI. I like your videos very much, especially that ones for better visualization of the reports. They are so clear and easy to understand. Keep up the good work! Like @mikevenom84 says: "you are ruining my spare time" ;)
*Important* Dear Friend, thanks for the video. Added gifs using the button but I can't publish it in workspaces 😐. Without gif I can able to publish the report. Please help us to fix or find out way to publish using the gif image. Thanks in advance bro.

Please disregard my last comment. I found another video of yours that works perfectly. Thank you!! :)
Is it possible to put GIFs in the pages tabs below in the Power BI Report?
LOVE IT. But the "for free" svg of gif files in the internet seem to be really limited or of poor quality. Or am I not digging deep enough?
Você é SINISTRO!!!
MUITO OBRIGADO POR COMPARTILHAR

I can't make background transparent by adding GIF image in Fill option in a blank button as you did. What is alternate way?

Hello
how analyze multipule response question in power bi
This is a great idea. I published all of my teams dashboards to an App. I’m thinking about redesigning our landing page to use a Gif instead of just “Landing Page” text on a boring background. I’ll create an animated landing page gif using PowerPoint 🤩
Update. Adding the gif substantially slowed down the load time of the landing page. Reverted back to static image.
Great video! thanks.
Only a question: in the mobile view the gif (in this case svg, the same blue wave that you used) in not viible....is it not support?
