  • PhysicsPak automatically fills a shape with copies of elements, growing, stretching, and distorting them to fill the space. It uses a physics simulation to do this and to control the amount of distortion.
    This is a look at early technology from Adobe. These may or may not be features and/or new products we integrate down the line.
    This work was done in collaboration with Reza Saputra Adhitya and Craig Kaplan from the University of Waterloo.

    That's cool. My wife would use it to pack a suitcase or washing machine...I wonder to what extent it could be used to at least a brick pattern etc. The only obstacle is sizing...and 3D possibilities.

    WoW! Adobe kindly check out Synthentik Studio Artist and try to give us a software that uses both photos and sag to simulate an images mosaic of landscapes/portraits etc and other effects......check out chars tsevis works you'll get the bigger picture..Good job guys!

      Oops not sag but svg studio artist creates tonnes of effects using generative processing ....wpap effect, mosaics, text images, cubism the list is endless....tsevis.com

    You can just create a pattern in illustrator using make pattern tool then use it as a swatch to apply on your artwork. Same thing

    How about updating the core of photoshop's tools, to handle 16 and 32 bit images... Currently Photoshop is basically still a 8bit dinosaur. Instead of adding these useless toys! Start acting professionel.
