The movies present him as a weak idiot and still you managed using movie scenes to portray him nearly as the hero he really is in the books.
i think they just wanted to focus on harry more which sucks cuz ron is my favorite character :(

They also made harry really dramatic in the movies for some reason
I have found out that a bunch of people don't like him! They say that he isn't loyal! I strongly disagree with that. He was going through a state of depression and he had insecurities. He welcomed Harry to his family when Harry had no one else. He is more than just an extra and he is more than just a sidekick... He is a king!

I feel bad for Rupert, he was such an amazing actor, arguably the best out of the Golden Trio. But, the movies butchered Ron's character. Rupert would've done a brilliant job portraying Book Ron if it weren't for idiotic Steve Kloves.

i cried, no joke. ron's character arc was submitted to such a joke in the movies as he was overpowered by hermione and harry's duo dynamic despite them being a trio. ugh. the movie completely disregarded his humor, friendship, loyalty, kindness and yet instilled bravery as all was masked by literally anyone else.
this edit truly highlighted and frames the real tragedy and terror yet light and happiness that we call ronald weasley. the music, dialogue, scene picks, filter, akdkdjd everything was picked to such a degree of sayonce. breathtaking. mwah. lots of love x

can we all know just acknowledge that from day one, ron has showed were his loyalty lies? ever since the first book, he's shown how willing he is to give his life for the ones he loves, during the chess game. he was prepared to sacrifice himself in order to save harry and hermione. people don't like him because he has falws like any normal human being, and that's exactly why, as a flawed person myself, i love him so much.
I can't believe people don't like him. He always was in Harry's and his brother's shadow. Molly didn't like him as much as she did with the other kids. He always cared about his friends, he was so brave. And people still don't think he is good enought. He could've been a good chosen one. He was not only funny and brave, he was also really smart, but people still don't accept him. This was excellent, actually made me cry a bit. We love ron!♡

This is what I always wanted for him, a video that showed his soul. This is beyond emotional and beautiful, it’s intimate to his character and is just so on point, I felt goosebumps all over me while watching every voice over, every scene so perfectly placed. By the end of this, I was tearing up. Actually, I still am. Thank you for this masterpiece, this is truly one of the best videos I’ve ever seen. I’m gonna rewatch this many times! First of all I am so happy that finally someone treated Ron seriously, not just as a joke or some addition to Harry and Hermiony (I love them as well of course). Ron is one of my favourite characters from the books and I hate when people say he's useless or not talented etc. But those who read the books know all of that.
Secondly I think I've never realised before, but did Ron just try to use Avada Kedavra on Nagini? It takes a lot of strengh to cast it.
It's perfect. I love Ron so much. He is my favorite character and I've always felt bad about him being belittled. Yes, he made mistakes, but he's human, right? And a teenager. But he had the courage to admit that he was wrong and try to correct it. Not everyone can do that. Thank you for making this brilliant video)
ron is truly the ultimate underdog, no one bet on him and most of the times ron himself doesn't truly bet on him. He's so underatted, i mean his journey, the path he has to follow in order became what he's became was so deep. Actually i think this is why he was my favourite character in the all universe of HP. One of the biggest reason I hate the movies so much is that they gave all Ron's amazing traits and quotes to mostly Hermione, and some to Harry, book Ron will always be one of my favorite characters, jealous but loyal, brave, and sometimes funny, he is like the soul of the trio, I cried watching this, it gives Ron character justice, amazing video, subscribed only for this single video, just amazing! you did something that i find difficult with the movie footage of ron, you made an emotional edit of Ron and highlighted just WHY he is such an amazing character, his loyalty, his bravery, his fears and his inferiority complex issues, this is honestly such an amazing edit and worthy of the character himself!
Shoot I love this. Watching this I realized that out of the Golden Trio in terms of loved people to be lost, a reputation in the Wizarding World, etc, Ron was the one putting the most on the line. Harry's parents were dead, Hermione's safe by the ignorance, and yet Ron had a huge family that were all put in danger by his actions, and he still chose to do the right thing.

This song was honestly such a huge turning point in the novels for Ron. I feel like the years before, Ron was portrayed as a little, weak kid, just known to be, quote unquote, "Harry Potter's stupid friend." This part of the series introduced a new Ron: one that is not known as pathetic nor stupid, one that stands for Gryffindor's true colors, one that is brave and courageous and powerful.

Underrated King. Please, he's so Precious, he was super cute when he was young. He is loyal, and the only reason why he left his two friends was because of the Horcruxe. He was always here for Harry, even when the Chosen One was boring, angry, he supported him every minute of his life. He risked his life for his friends, and lost his Brother, but he was ~ALWAYS~ here for his friends and loved ones.

This is perfect, everything down to the book reference in the title is perfect. It's so sad that we weren't able to get that much of this Ron in the movies. They just played him off as the dumb friend that was there for comedic relief. They screenwriters also favored Harry and Hermione so they gave away lot of Ron's traits and Ron's moments to prove himself. No hate to Rupert Going though, he did an amazing acting job💖

I watched Harry Potter movies over and over again and love Ron's character... it's like the heart in the trio... after some times I read all the books and now it's feel like Ron was more than a character...he was a brother a lover a fighter a king... The changes he makes in his character throughout the books was remarkable
