Yep, he has no real chance of defeating the regular Russian military, especially not on homeland soil. I mean, to begin with he's 100% dependent on their supplies, and he has NO air force and no ships of his own. I don't see him managing to win over any major Russian units to his side - he's just going to get himself treated as a traitor.

I find it really unlikely Russia would intentionally project this level of weakness and inability to control its own forces. I think the truth is a lot simpler - things are getting chaotic, and opportunists are smelling blood in the water.

How would that work? The Wagner chief legitimately hates Shoigu, so I doubt they would both agree to play along if this was fake. And if it is real, then Putin wouls risk alienating both factions by sparking internal conflicts.

Although his actions may seem to have dealt a blow to the Russian military, they are primarily driven by internal conflicts related to the uneven distribution of gains and personal interests, rather than a patriotic operation or a pursuit of justice. He is not a liberator, not a pacifist, not an anti-authoritarian. He is just a brutal terrorist. However, I would love to see the internal conflicts of Putin's regime, which would hasten his downfall.

I didn't support the war, but at the same time I haven't been screaming about it, I was kinda neutral since I can't change anything anyway. He is spitting facts about government and our ministry of defense. Wagner was the only one who could make governments goals come true. But, it's not anymore. When I heard that our army sent an artillery to the wagners base, I was shocked that it happened. The thing is that Prigozhin is only one person, that can speak for the citizens. Now he wants to free Russia from corruption and big lies, that our government was spreading about war and it's goals.
It's hard time for us, on the one side many people started to support Wagner, since we have no more opposition (Navalnuy is in prison for life for now). He can change many things that are happening in Russia right now. But on the other side, since we don't have opposition, we don't know whom to choose even if Putin steps down...

These are residential areas, you cannot bomb there. The cities of Russia share large areas of forests and fields, only there is transport. Now they have blocked the highway, but even so there is no territory where it would be possible to unleash a war without harm to civilians.

On a side note what military analysts (arms lobbyist) on msm aren't mentioning is that Prgozhin is now anti Ukrainian war, he called it a pointless war that only served old men in moscows egos.
