America has funded several foreign coups in Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Iran, and there has been suspicious known CIA front, NGO activity in Hungary, I'm calling it that there will be a coup soon. Not to mention we bombed the Nordstream pipeline creating the biggest environmental disaster of all time. All of these since Russia has invaded Ukraine and is still involved in Syria and Yemen. And although we don't officially have boots on the ground anymore in Afghanistan, we still drone strike it every other week and you have to have secret reconnaissance troops on the ground to coordinate those strikes.
Not to mention this whole Ukraine situation started with the CIA backed coup in Ukraine and the Georgian invasion happened very soon after a pro Russia govt was couped by the same NGOs involved in all of these situations

Oligarchs at least these days are basically appointed by the Kremlin (like Sechin, Chemisov, Miller, I tend to put Schröder in the same basket at this point) and therefore hold essentially direct control over their enterprise and due to their direct appointment from the Kremlin's side use the company assets to support the Kremlin's policies instead of focusing on their business interests. It's essentially state owned companies at this point. Gazprom randomly cutting ties with the market that had a pipeline capacity of about 200 billion cubic meters a year to go for China which at this point has about 40 billion pipeline capacity is not gonna pay the prices the EU did is not a business move. And changing 80% of Gazproms and other companies dollar revenue from dollars into rubles to support the ruble course is also not a business move. It's socialism with a few crowny billionaires doing what the leader says. There no western company that would be this stupid. Those just focus on their business interests.
