Thank you for a lovely travel vlog showing Stockholm at its absolute best in late spring! Regarding the Vasa, it's a classic example of someone in power (in this case the King Gustavus Adolphus) letting their ego get the better of them: He wanted one more deck of cannons to be added late into the construction, which, combined with not enough ballast (i.e. rocks) at the bottom of the ship made her unstable...and therefore capsize when a sudden gust of wind came from Södermalm. She still makes for a pretty impressive shipwreck though!

Also, the Foreman of the job didnt have experience building warships. And two different crews used different kinds of measurements. So it was all sorts of wrong

5:16 if you would have followed that sign u would have found the "Estonia monument" it is about a ship that sank in 1994 with over 800 people who died.

Absolutely love you both. I hear it is way cheaper to fly to Europe to see this concert than stay in the US...crazy. I would of guessed "Take A Chance On Me" to be the go to ABBA tune. Either way, loved the video. Be well friends

Sorry to say the balls or the sauce were made by a swede. Number one the were to big, you do not place the ball on top of the mash.

Should have gotten a Kebab Pizza, the true national dish of Sweden. The "Swedish meatballs" didn't look that authentic, too large and not enough crust

@@tomeng9520 Not at all, people can make them however they want, but ones presented as "Swedish Meatballs" are more often than not made different from the ones I grew up with, or ones I've found recepes for in (relatively) old cooking books.
The main problem with making them large is that you need to work the mix "too much" in order to keep them round while frying, so they turn out too dense for my liking.
If that's what you like, good for you, it just seems like a quite different dish

I'm seeing a few comments about them looking different - will need to go back and find more!

@@tomeng9520 Let's see, Husmoderns kokbok 1928: The mix is formed into small balls with two spoons dipped in warm water (I prefer using my hands and cold water, but whatever), other cook books I have mixes the terms köttbullar with pannbiff and köttfärslimpa, since it's basically only the size that keeps them apart. If someone wants to make a pannbiff round by working the mix and cooking them in an oven, by all means, but I do have a gripe about calling them Swedish Meatballs

A booze cruise on that river would cost you a mortgage payment. That's why they all go on the ferry on payday and chug it!!!!
