When it comes to Asriel's room, I'm pretty sure Kris shut their eyes to prevent us from knowing what's inside. I find it very interesting that with whatever little control they have, they're still trying to protect their brother from the player.

The “can harboil egg hatch” search in Susie’s room is a reference to how temmie complained Susie told them that their egg wasn’t going to hatch in ch 1. Guess Susie did some research to check that was true

The egg reference in Susie's room is referring to how temmie says "Susie said my hard boiled egg can't hatch."

The “mint under your cage” and the “this isn’t a hotel” lines are a reference to the song from undertale called “Can you really call this a hotel I didn’t receive a mint on my pillow or anything”
Fun fact: Whenever in Queen's mansion, the soundtrack “Pandora Palace” will stop to play this slide whistle sound and all of the Queen-Mona Lisa paintings will laugh. And also stops the fire breathing.

Correction for this one: collecting the tiny houses on the way to the Rouxls fight DOES do something. Each house you hit gives you a bit of bonus TP to start the battle with so you can start claiming houses immediately, as opposed to the default start of zero TP if you don’t get any houses.
if getting all of them you'll start with 30 TP.

Fun fact, if Susie is equipped with the Devilknife when you fight Tasque Master, she actually acknowledges it and says something along the lines of “get rid of that Devilknife”

When you inspect the Berdly statue in the toilet, “No problem here” is a reference to Earthbound. That’s what the game says if you try to inspect something that has no flavor text attached to it.
I love how Queen says "You Will Get Sick" when Kris misses the banana the first time, I always saw it as a sign of Queen legitimately caring for the people in her care/possession, and her saying that she likes Noelle because she's "strong" basically confirmed that.

another easter egg: most people know that pressing F1 for help while fighting spamton heals you, and some may know that this also works in the spamton NEO battle, but i've heard you can also press F1 in spamton's shop when he breaks character and calls for help, and he thanks you
Snowgrave Spoiler: Apparently if you press F1 during the Spamton ending fight, he heals you there as well. But only once.

Wavedashing is technically in Ultimate. Just that it sucks and is basically useless.
Queen mentions “roboticizing” Noelle. Roboticizing is a term used in the Sonic the Hedgehog series to talk about turning living creatures into robots (when you defeat a robot, a small creature pops out because you freed them from roboticization). Seeing as the entire opening area of Chapter 2 has very strong 16-Bit Sonic vibes (Metropolis Zone comes to mind because of the color palette), it’s most likely an intentional reference.

That's 'robotization'. 'Roboticization' is the process of actually transforming an organic creature into a robot. It's not so simple to reverse.

I always thought Queen's statue falling to the acid was actually starwalker. As he dissapears from the inventory around that time and the Swatchling text is yellow.

@@nashtornado6446 if in chapter 1 in a room with a "bird" you ring the bell that detaches birds wings and come back to the start of the room you will encounter a star looking guy, he only says "I'm the original Star Walker". After talking to him and completing the first chapter, he will enter your inventory alongside lancer and Roulx Kaard

Well he appears later on when creating the giant robot to fight the queen.
Burgerpants during the genocide route says "I cant go to hell,im all out of vacation days",spamton says "TAKE A VACATION STRAIGHT TO HELL" , burgerpants also ends a sentence with NOT ,which is a common linguistic quirk from Spamton.NEO is made of mettaton parts and mettaton used to be BP's boss.

I had noticed that. So I went back and I found out that Burgerpants/Pizzapants is one of two characters who directly paraphrase the “ride around town” Big Shot Autos tagline that Spamton quotes frequently (notably when he alters it to mention the [clown around town]). B.Pants says that he would “cruise around town” with Asriel, picking up chicks like old times. Asgore is the other character to paraphrase, mentioning a “drive around town” after going to the diner together… also waxing nostalgic about Asriel. Just something interesting I noted.

So hmmm... We've got 2 cats in the Light World alluding to Spamton's Big Shot era, as well as Seam (another cat) knowing about him somehow... 🤔
(Further connecting Spamton to the Cat element... LOL if y'all haven't seen it, HalfBreadChaos has two videos analyzing how Spamton may legitimately be a Cat. It's entertaining at very least, but surprisingly viable, how the heck?! 😅)
But also interesting how the three Lightners there are also connecting that aspect of Spamton to Asriel...
One of the many, many possibilities is that Asriel (and/or Pizzapants) was/were involved with using Spamton's program to make money (thus making him eventually into like, a virtual idol). But then maybe like, finals week happened, & like so many college students Asriel mentally died afterwards & lacked the energy to do that side-hustle anymore (and/or Pizzapants had to devote his energy to not letting his job shatter him to pieces), thus why Spamton got left in the lurch.

This is apparently because Castle Town's fountain is made of pure darkness, so it's compatible with every monster. Since every darkner is born from their fountain, it just makes sense Ralsei works just as his own fountain.

2 things: First, if you shine the bird light on Berdly during the light puzzles, there is secret dialogue. Second, the more houses you collect before the minigame with Rouxls, the more TP you start with.
And we've probably only scratched the surface of what may be hidden in this game

The thing about the hardboiled egg in Susie's room a lot of people don't remember the fact that if you talk to temmie in Chapter 1 after checking her egg she mentions that "suz very mean. said eg never hatch" Which means Susie looked up to see if a hardboiled egg will hatch and told temmie about that. Which could be interpreted as here being petty and looked it up to tell her to be mean or was trying to be nice and tell temmie that it won't hatch because it's hardboiled.
I find it funnier to think that Susie told her the egg won't hatch but Temmie was so insistent that it would, that Susie started wondering if it actually could and Googled it.
Susie's internet search about hard boiled eggs hatching is a chapter 1 reference. When you talk to temmie after susie leaves the room, she says that susie told her that her egg (which is hard boiled when you check it) wouldn't hatch
this implies that susie had to google it to tell temmie

Guys I just realized something, on the pacifist route where Noelle is talking about their past with Kris she mentioned her sister Dess used to wipe her tears with Asriels jacket. Which means Dess was often wearing Asriels jacket! Could this mean that Asriel and Dess were a couple?

And it's my theory that each lightner has a manifestation of their willpower, Noelle's for example being Spamton most likely (evidenced from the snowgrave route)

The banana is most likely a reference to racing games like Mario kart, seeing as in those games hitting cars and bananas hurts you, but in deltarune they give you laughs and POTASSIUM

Wouldn't it more weird for the darkners to have lives and back stories before the dark fountains are open, considering the darkners are all objects and such? Or is it a toy story situation where the darkners are conscious of how their lightworld counterparts are being handled? Because that's more disturbing to me and considering what Swatch says about the NEO body that might very well be the case.
we do know that the Queen knows the Spade King, even if for the looks of things the fountain that created the Cyber World is something super new, so they had to exist before for this to make sense.

I actually think that it's a toy story thing. In the end of chapter 2, Seam says something about seeing the queen again. From this, I just thought that Seam was a kid's toy that was bought to the library at one point then got lost in the classroom. Such a fun thing to think about honestly.
Maybe they do exist before the fountain, and the fountain is really just… there, a way for Kris and Susie to go inside?

Seeing that it says "you are filled with a certain power" right before what seems to be THE FIRST MENTION OF DETERMINATION from the queen I feel like that's connected somehow.
The fact that it always says "you are filled with-" and goes in to say something always other then determination is interesting. When it was always determination in undertale.
To me its as if in undertale,you/narrorator knew EXACTLY what determination is, while in deltarune they feel something but can't pinpoint what it its. Just a thought
Actually at the car section, you can do the force field thing on a controller, you hold up on the left thumb stick and down on the D-pad
when you described the wind as “howling” it reminded me a lot of ralsei’s description of the “roaring”

My personal idea is that Darkners backstories have to do with how they where treated before the fountains where made.
Like the unused class room was abounded for ages so the lighters did leave the Darkners. Which means when the fountain was made they remember what happened before it was made
This would make the Tv at home really mad at Kris and Toriel for leaving it off for so long. But maybe it will like Susie for she actually turned on the Tv.

I believe that Toby actually originally intended for you to fight him in the original Undertale. There's a secret room which is supposedly Toby's/the Dog's game development studio, and inside is quip about potentially fighting the dog "when they get around to doing a little bit more patching". In game canon, it is referring to the dog patching up a rug, but in meta canon, it meant that a future patch to the game may include a secret boss fight with Toby. This secret boss fight never actually got implemented, but judging by how there's a parallel line in Deltarune about fighting the dog once the game development wraps up, Toby may be repurposing the idea of him being a secret endgame final boss.
With the stack of tables requiring the Throne of God's, that's a reference to the stack of chairs in Toriels Classroom, which has grown from the last game

So at 17:00, it talks about the supreme table and how you need the Throne of the Gods to use it. The Throne of the Gods is actually in the game. Its in Toriel's classroom in the bottom right corner. Its just a bunch of chairs stacked up on top of each other.
The Susie search history about boiled eggs is actually a refrence from chapter one when temmie said that susie is mean and that susie said to them the egg won't hatch... Susie actually googled it

These videos make me want to play deltarune again, even though I only finished it a few days ago... It's been, like, a week since I first played Undertale and I'm way too into this. Btw I noticed that the theme for when you create your vessels in chapter 1 is called “Another him” Chris is non binary so it doesn’t refer to Kris. However considering the theme itself is a motif of Gaster’s theme, this could suggest Kris themselves are tied to Gaster very closely. Not to mention the whole smiley face thing on the tv at the end of chapter 2.

Also makes no sense for something allegedly on Asriel's computer to appear in the computer lab dark world.
In the first mouse puzzle with Noelle, you can actually just walk past the puzzle without solving it and attempt to leave her. This has some new dialogue with Noelle and if you keep trying to leave she eventually forces herself to run past the mice (while scared) to get to you, lol.

Kris is actually the one who plugged in the TV between Chapter 1 and Chapter 2.
If you go to the TV in Chapter 1, the text says it's unplugged. The same thing happens at the end of the chapter. At the beginning of Chapter 2, the TV is already "plugged in".
I wonder if it's meant to be something like, the uncontrolled and controlled Kris' are plugging and unplugging it - trying to thwart each other's plans?
