- I finally got around to modifying and install the Harley Davidson Road King Visor Style Headlight Trim Ring, to fit on my 2021 Heritage Classic.

That's a roadking bezel isn't it, you can just buy the heritage one it has a tab with a single screw that hold it on
There are no Heritage bezels that are visor style that fit. Only old school Road King that can be modified.

I have a black set to put on, what year is your bike? Might have been a good Idea to coat the cut surfaces with a corrosion protective layer, and to have covered your fender to prevent drop damage (?)
It’s a 2021. You probably right, I should have put a protective layer on, but because the Visor was so cheap, I didn’t even think about it 😀
I had a former Harley salesman tell me yesterday that some guys put a Fat Boy or a Road King headlight housing on their Heritage. The visors look super nice!

Hi Lenny, I'm the owner of a fantastic FLDE my 2019 and I see that you are installing on your bike exactly the same optionals that I would like too. I have a questione for the trim ring visor. Why did you choose the big one (for Road Kind) instead of the part no. 69734-05? Is it possible for you to adjust and adapt this one on our led headlight? Sorry for my bad "english"..I'm Italian 🙂 Thank you in advance for a reply
Hi Matteo. I am not sure about the fitment of the 69734-05 on the 2019, but for my 2021 it definitely would not fit and its not adjustable. This is the main reason I chose the Road King one. It is still too big this is why I had to cut it down. But then I was able to add the insulation in between and tighten the outer Ring. Hope this helps.

@@matteopiran46 based on what I read, Harley has redesigned the headlight on the newer Heritage models. That is why you don’t see FLHC models in the fitmest section.
Coming from an experienced mechanic. #1 Mount the vice on the table with the fixed part of the jaw even with the edge of the bench, so long parts can hang down towards the floor. #2 cover work area bottles and products with a matt or towel to avoid debris from grinder #3 Have work bench just above the waist not elbow height. #4 face shield and a hat are better at protecting you than just glasses
Thank you for all the pointers. Sometime in the very near future I’ll change my work bench to a lower one. I’ve had it for a while and unfortunately it’s not height adjustable (unless I cut the legs lol).

Try part #69734-05 from Harley Davidson website. That’s what I have on mine. I can see your headlight ring is mounted from a single screw in the middle and the visor is one solid piece just like the pic provided on the website. The one you modified is cut in the middle which is made for the larger nacelle of a roadking and fatboy.
The part 69734-05 fits with 2018-2023 FLHC stock headlight ?

Absolutely! Once my tires wear out, I will get the new set for the fat spokes and get them replaced.
Great job , they don't sell this style trim for m8 slim do you think I could put a similar sized and style with modifications on a 2019 slim ?
I am not 100% sure if the size of the headlight is the same as slim but I think you could make it work.

I am looking to do the same. Is the part number you got 69832-05? I see several for road kings that have different part numbers for different years.
I don’t remember the part number but it will have to be a 94+ year Road King, 7 inch diameter.
