24 And God heard their groaning, and God remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob.
25 God saw the people of Israel-and God knew. (Exodus 2:24-25, ESV)
Thank you for this good word

I am in the refiner's fire...and without these messages and without your willingness to share your heart and be vulnerable, we would all feel as if we're in it alone. But here you are proclaiming God and I can say... praise be to Him, he is so good even when all else is so bad. ❤❤❤❤

Thanks for covering this. Our ministry’s mission is to help people trust God in difficult things. Being a pastor with cerebral palsy, God has truly showed me Christ in my suffering and taught me many things about his heart in my seasons of pain. God bless you guys for covering this. People need to know God doesn’t leave them alone in their hurt.

It would be great to hear a message on how the Lord provides for us. Growing up in a SBC we were taught that the Lord's provisions are conditional. Seems pastors shy away from this topic because they don't want to give false hope. Or they take the topic for granted. Pastors find ways to make money so it must cross their mind

Thank you pastors. Listening to you brings psalm 139 to mind. Glory be to Almighty God for our salvation in Christ and for the truth of His word. May God bless and keep you both, and bless your families and congregations.

Where I am getting tripped up is how to pray about these situations we want deliverance from. Because I know God can use suffering for good and the advancement of His Gospel, I feel as though I expect nothing but suffering. Because I know He warned us about trials, I tend to look forward to nothing but trials. Because of the process of sanctification, I feel as though blessings beyond salvation will not come (because I need so much sanctifying!). So when I pray for deliverance from something, I tend to think He won’t deliver me- but of course can sanctify me for it and have good purposes. I’m realizing that I must be on the extreme here to believe in never seeing good from God in the land of living. I need balance, but need help figuring out how to appropriately pray and believe God will deliver me from a situation. The “what if he doesn’t” is too large. I don’t want to err on the opposite extreme of the prosperity gospel, but where is the middle? I worry that because of this negative view that I am falling into double-mindedness and therefore will not receive any of what I pray for. How do I have hope for blessings and not just trials in this life?

Great message of comfort & hope. We all go through these periods of doubt and questioning. I just shared this with the men in our biblical addiction treatment house called Hope House.

Good morning men. Any thoughts on "Holiness" by JC Ryle? I know there are select puritans who you may need to be wary of (Baxter) but anything in Holiness that we ought to be careful of? Piety? Moralism? I appreciate any thoughts on that. God bless you brothers.
