My husband and I were planning to visit Justin‘s church because I was to attend a Christian conference at Ridgecrest near Asheville that weekend. But of course that didn’t happen. Praying for all of you in North Carolina as you recover from the ravages of Helene.

I confess, I haven't listened to your discussion with Remnant Radio, but want to know if you have confronted them about asking guests like Heidi Baker Biblically confronting questions about heretical teachings? I've directed a man to your channel who believes in the law of attraction, if he is anything like I was, he might see you talking to these guys and if no clear statement of disagreements is evident he might assume they are safe to watch. And if they are ok to follow, why not their other guests (down the rabbit hole with Todd White and the rest). I hope I'm making sense 😅

Thank you, for addressing this, and how believers express tribal behaviours, which is sometimes shocking how they engage. God bless you both..

i enjoyed seeing you on remnant radio, their goal is to bring more good theology to the charismatic movement which is a lot better than standing back and bashing charismatics.

Hmm. Very edifying and true, I never considered this perspective and I agree. Thank you for this thought, and thank God!

Although I understand the reasoning to publicly speak with certain people from other camps, I would caution it’s not wise. Now it will absolutely depend on the situation but most are not linking up with false teachers for the reasoning you guys are stating and that creates a big stumbling block for MANY!
And I do agree with resources, but wouldn’t be wise for those new to the faith.

Yeah and people can have a problem with Remnant Radio for having you guys on. Like. Literally everyone has someone out there that thinks they're off base. When someone gets upset over a guest, to me it screams of insecurity. The more secure I have become in the gospel, the more at ease I am listening to people say insane things, because I know it's insane. Know what you believe, why you believe it, and be open minded to hearing other people out.

Calling out wolves because the Bible tells us to, and we obey what God tells us, is insecurity? That logic sounds like the snake in the garden. Remember there are lots and lots of immature Christians who fall victim to bad doctrine preached by false teachers and it's up to those who see it to mark and avoid them. Even Apostle Paul called out wolves by name! He cared for the flock.

@@AfricanSheep yeah, that's not the kind of situation I'm talking about. Now, I am against people calling everyone a wolf because they disagree on secondary matters though. But if someone is actually a wolf, by all means, call them out.

@@AfricanSheep I was specifically responding to a part of the video where they were talking about people have a problem with them being a guest on other channels. And I think it's completely reasonable to preach truth to any audience. If I only speak to people who agree with me, I'm not being an effective witness.

I would struggle seeing a favorite theologian meeting with Doug Wilson. I just find his character and demeanor so incredibly toxic that I would recommend avoiding him and go with a pastor/theologian that has similar views but is far more charitable and grace filled. Doug over the past number of years has not demonstrated the fruits of the spirit with those he disagrees with and it is quite sad to see.

Before I respond to that concern, please define what you mean by INCREDIBLY TOXIC, define "not being gracious towards those he disagrees with", and name WHO he disagrees with.

@@michaelstarling6361 Basically demonstrating the opposite of the fruits of the spirit. Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness. Gentleness, Faithfulness and Self Control are things I don't see coming from DW when he speaks.

@@jasonnickel384 by cracking jokes? Elijah did that. By hurling insults? Jesus Himself did that, as well as flipping tables. By being sarcastic? Paul did that.
And to whom was Doug speaking? Pro-choice lesbian priests? The Evanjellyfish who try to smear him for the sake of clout in the eyes of the left?
