The work put in to these towers makes you appreciate why high end audio costs as much as it does. Really nice job, I'm sure your Dad would agree.
13:30 you can really hear the crossover network in action here. What an awesome build! Probably the best DIY speaker I’ve seen on UA-cam. So these are bi-amped correct? The woofer must be a duel four ohm voice coil ran in series as to reach an 8 ohm load? How much power to the upper section?
Also I just wanted to add I’m glad you did a “sound test“ some people think it’s pointless since the microphone and headphones don’t represent what’s on screen [The speaker build] but I think it’s very important as the viewer to gain the whole experience. And you can at least get a feel for the speaker in a given room and can surly tell wether or not the builder was successful or not lol. Again fantastic job! awesome!
Very nice!!! I am looking at building my own pair of floor standers but the parts I want to use alone are in the upper 3K range. Saving money in the meantime 😃
You should maybe consider building the base plate out of marine grade apply possibly better for resonation control

They sound very good. But what happened to the horns top end?
I can tell they sound good just by the clarity bass won't pop like we would like to hear.

Will u guide me i had some stuff like 4nox6" Sub 4nox 3" Tweeters and some speakers from my home theator.... All is junk now due to some pcb problem otherwise all are sounding good....

I can only imagine how good they sound because they sound very good even over the internet with the Audio frequency bandwidth being rather small.

Tyle roboty i majster klepka chciał być lepszy od gości którzy siedzia od lat w biznesie pomysł był dobry uwielbiam takie rozwiązanie kolumn dobrze się spisuje wzmacniacz 2.1 przód gra w średnicy i bas lepiej słuchać za dużo tych głośników z przodu wystarczy dać dwa średnio tonowce i 1 wysko tonowy najlepiej jest poprostu skopiować jakieś dobre kolumny kupić podobne głośniki użyć identycznych zwrotnic.

I cannot understand why someone would put all that work into making speaker cabinets and then put cheap ass components in this crossover.
