Hook those bad boys up to something and let us hear the sound. Dont' worry about the negative nellies and their microphone hang-ups, just post some audio/video for fun.

I have to say your wood work is pretty good but your audio editing and mixing was even better. So many power tool using youtubers could learn a lot here.

so when you cut the edges to make your 90º corners 45º is the cut to make so the pieces will fit. I know I seen it but just reassurance you know. I am about to build a Bluetooth boom box and hate the edges where you can see the plywood.

Seriously Dude, I don't know what I'm more impressed with - your speakers or the level of skill you use in making your videos. I only just discovered your channel Kirby, but I'm already subscribed and thorougly inspired. Keep up the great work.

Nicely edited video, comfortable machinery noise level, and chill music! If only we could hear the speakers in action afterwards it would be near perfect :)

Honestly, your work is so gorgeous. If you sold speakers you already built, I'll pay for shipping and materials as well as extra for your hard work.! You're a beast!

I learned some good tricks from this vid, such as the tape, etc. I don't have all those tools, but I think I will invest in a small table saw at least which should cover much of my recs. Q, no port on those? I'd think a port needed to eek out what little base those drivers can produce.

I am following this channel because I am really into building speakers and you are obviously a good woodworker. However you should really make your speakers with MDF or plywood. Solid wood does look better but 99% of speaker manufacturers avoid this because it resonates too much. Usually people do MDF and then overlay veneer but I am sure you can do a 'double wall' construction where you have an inner layer made from plywood and an outer layer with solid wood. I just do 100% plywood because I like the look. You can also try bamboo plywood(plyboo). I plan on experimenting with PVC for speakers myself.
