Great channel and the quality of the work is exceptional. However, I cant understand the constant having a go at the Puma engine. I have a 2008 Puma 90 and never had any issues. I speak to other Puma 2.4 and they say the same - very odd. Mine is a factory spec with the only upgrade is to LED lights. Maybe it’s the remapping thats an issue. Interested to hear from other Puma owners.
It’s probably because we’re a garage who fixes them so we only see them when they’re broken and of late it’s been a good subject to film. Also we’ve changed the way we post content so most video except the weekly vlogs are now single subject whereas before everything was wrapped up in the weekly video. We’re trying to grow the channel as it’s good for business so we have to play the UA-cam game sometimes. Not that what we produce isn’t genuine, everything is, but sometimes our titles and thumbnails are a bit clickbaity as we have to try and attract people’s attention on a platform where everyone is competing for viewer attention [Chris]
Question for Dave, whilst I appreciate that LR Defenders are your bread & butter so to speak, and whilst they are basically a "big boys meccano set" with seemingly endless business opportunities, But would you entertain Discovery 3/4 Engine conversions, especially as a sizeable %age of the Ford lion engine seem to fail, it is the biggest flaw in what is in my opinion a remarkably versatile vehicle, say a Toyota Land cruiser 300, 3.3 V6 diesel (300BHP+ & 700NM standard spec), I realize they are not sold in this country for donors, is it something you'd consider ?
There’s always one who finds something negative to say 🤦🤦! Yes we also thought about that but the coffee cup must hit the compressor activation button first then hop to the left slightly then knock the Diff lock button. Thanks for your concern but we’re not stupid !
