Kristina Keren (Krystyna Chirowski) was seven years old when her family escaped from the massacres in Lwow and went into hiding in the city's sewers. For almost one and a half years they remained in the underground tunnels, never seeing daylight, and completely dependent on the help of Leopold Socha, a sewer worker of the municipality.

Never allow anyone to generalise all Poles or all anything, there are always good people everywhere , as well as bad, so lets remember not to say all Poles were antisemitic . It is crazy the way people forget that there were good people who risked their lives to save others, however few, this must be recognised !

Pani Krzysiu:) obejrzałam film, przeczytałam obie książki oraz wszytko co udało mi się znaleźć w sieci. Zachęcam wszystkich kogo mogę do zapoznania się z Państwa historią. Życzę zdrowia i powodzenia w dalszym rozsławianiu imienia Sochy na świecie.... tacy bohaterowie już się nie rodzą lub należą do "ginącego gatunku". Wykonała Pani kawał dobrej roboty. Ciekawe jakby to powiedziała Poldek:) ale na pewno byłby z Pani dumny.
