  • When undergoing a Total Laryngectomy, the voice box is removed, which makes you unable to voice ‘naturally’. But what happens when you lose your voice? Who are you without a voice?
In this 1000 Voices series, we meet people who have regained their speech by using a voice prosthesis. They share their experiences, thoughts, and feelings on what it means for them to have a voice.
Since 1990, Atos Medical has developed and manufactured voice prostheses to enable total laryngectomy patients to speak again, with less effort and a good voice quality.
