I like how the motors in these cars are carefully broken in and the whole car is carefully tweaked with a heavy chassis or light. That’s the part that takes the skill. This would be a fun hobby. I might just buy one of these and build and customize it just for the heck of it. Looks like fun!
Well breaking in. Is just for racers if your just chilling you don't need a broken in motor. As in just for fun but you cam still do it if you like. As for me I'm fine nit breaking in until I get more track pieces or a bigger track to race at In general
Good day Zen and mabuhay! Just completed the parts you used and it took awhile to complete them, some of the parts are very hard to find. Like you said the parts are a bit expensive hehe! Will try to copy this setup for my Great magnum R.
They're not meant to race against Fully Modified setups, so they will definitely lose. These are designed for Tuned Class, which entails no Cutting and Tuned Motors Only. But I will do a video of a race-off of MA vs AR vs FM-A.
Just wondering why you replace the original rear stay with FRP stay? I weighed them, and they weigh the same I believe. And the mounting points aren't too diff either. Would like to learn from you. Thank you.
I didn't replace them with FRP. Those are carbon fiber. They are stiffer and allow for faster weight transfer during cornering. And no, they don't weigh the same. You just need a more accurate scale to tell the difference.
Hey Jan! what the benefit of having 13mm double aluminum rollers vs 19 mm ringless aluminum rollers at the front? or would this depend on the track? thanks!
Hi! I'm fairly new to the hobby, i'm wondering about how you installed the mass damper block in the rear. Its not the usual block on 2 poles style of installation. And in this video the rear mas damper installation was fast forwarded. Thank you!
@@Z3NBluster Thank you so much! I already ordered those in my local hobby shop. More power and thanks again! Im currently building a Rowdy Bull from the starter kit :D
Hey zen! Any suggestion on what model of tamiya should i buy first since i'm a beginner? Is aero avante good or you have other suggestion? Thanks! Btw i love all your build! Looking forward to see more! Thanks again!

@@Z3NBluster well thnks for answering my question zen..by the way im from the philippines..kababayan hehe😎 keep it up pre..maganda ung mga contents mo marami kang na tutulongan na newbie tulad ko..
Sir could I use HG 3mm front frp for the front bumper and front under guard instead of the 1.5mm ones because I can’t find any 1.5mm here in my location.
If you use 3mm for the front underguard mount, you risk having the front too low and it might not pass the 1mm clearance rule. If you're going to use it as a roller mount for the front, that's probably doable. If you can not find the HG carbon 1.5mm parts, just use the FRP version of the same shape.
Hi @Z3N Bluster! :) I got a question. I want to know why you use different set of rollers for the front? why Double aluminum on one side and dish on the other side? I'm kind of a noob since I just started racing these little things. Looking forward to your reply.
The double aluminum roller with o-ring bites harder when it goes through the three-lane lanechange. It also helps slightly offset the balance of FM. FM is slightly heavier on its left side. Putting that on the right nudges the center of mass closer to neutral.
It can, you'll have to make adjustments to get the dimensions correct due to the difference in roller positions compared to using 19mm rollers in the front.
Sir Jan! halos ginaya ko set up mo, di nga lng kinaya ng budget yung mga rollers for now. ok din ba kaya ito sa power dash kung sakali? o may dagdag pang kailangan?
Hi, I tried your build the same what you did in the video and I notice that my 19mm rollers at the back doesn't move freely..have you experienced this problem?..any tips how to fix this..in the video yours doesn't have any problem in installing it..I think only mine..can you point out some factors why is it happen? TIA :)
and another thing, i noticed that the rear damper/hammer damper at the back always came off during jumps..at first run i doesn't but eventually as it always came off especially during jumps..what do you think the alternatives so that it will not came off? TIA
I really like your FM-A car setup, especially after saw your car's performance at 【ミニ四駆】Tamiya Mini 4WD Racing- Hong Kong Taxi Tuned Class video... Can u please give me every detail parts ? Cause I really want to build a FM-A exactly the same as yours... Thanks a lot.
Nope, the Super FM Front Bumper requires heavy modification to fit the front bumper set in this video. The Super FM Chassis does not have side mounts to accomodate the side dampers in this video. The Super FM Chassis does not have a two point attachment in the rear to accomodate the rear bumper setup on this car.
Z3N Bluster Hi Zen, thank you for your quick respond. I have one more question for you. I was brwosing DXN web site to purchase all the parts I need. What did you do when they don't have certain parts? Do they order for you? and is it free to use track on shop? I live in San Diego and planning to visit one day. Please advise.
When I bought my parts at the time of this build it was complete. Whatever part is missing you'll have to find something comparable and use that instead. If you by a certain amount of parts that qualifies to run your cars on the track. The DXNProvisions page has contact information. Send Scott and email and he will reply to your questions.
Z3N Bluster thnks for the info mate..bt i really like spoilers on xto to add more beauty...nice build though i definitely follow ur set up and of course with the spoilers..thank you hehe
On UA-cam, you can slow down the video by selecting half or quarter speed playback. That should allow you to slow down the footage enough to see what's going on.
Nice hobby, need many building skills and technics but there is something it doesn't have. There are no driving skills like rc cars or slotcars. Try to find rally or raid slot

Hey mate! I just want to say thanks to you :) this build got me on heat 2 of an open tournament. Thanks a lots !
I’m curious and i really want to build one myself i’m just wondering the average cost for one of these builds
Sometimes it cost 1500 or even 2000 bro
If you were to build a gigant with the same set up and ship it,like an advance pack, how much would you bill someone for it bro?
Hello. Can anyone explain why asymmetrical configuration on the front? Is it because the motor is mounted slightly towards the right of the car?
I hope to see a Brocken Gigant Premium set up from you...thanks
Hope you could make a video running these simple setups.. Some may want to see how the fare well against the heavily modified setup.

You can slow down the video by choosing to watch at half or quarter speed. It's mounted with its normal ball shaped screws.

what motor needs a Avante MKIII red special ? , and tune up parts? , im new in this hobby and bought this car last friday , thnx
Watch my MA Chassis Basic Build videos part 1 and 2. In my Tamiya Mini 4WD Build Playlist in my channel. Your Avante Red should fit in an MA chassis.

Gertie Ryan Sancha Puwede. The Double Aluminum Roller on the right - front side is mostly for the lanechange.
Mau nanya ..kenapa chassis fma berisik meski udah full bearing ??
I don't understand what you just said.
Why fama chassis noisy whereas full bearing
Why the front rollers not symmetrical. One side is 12-13 dragon roller and the other side casual 13mm rollers?
The double roller is for the lanechange. It bites a little harder on the lanechange if you need it to.

I did not create a list. Watch part 1, I physically showed each part needed in the first 2-3 minutes of the video.
