Not entirely sure as yet, just looking at our options. I'm just burning through filters at the moment, it has had shock treatment in the one effected tank, but going to drain it over the winter.
Thank you - it is more of a 'what do we do next' type of feeling, we are really undecided as to what next year will look like. We have the winter to think about it, I still have a few uploads to do so we still have some content, but we have to really face up to how little boating that we have done in real terms over the past couple of years. We certainly haven't made any firm decisions yet and still have FN.
I haven't been up as much as I would like - I have a water pump that needs attention with I am going to strip and repair... How is the boat working out?
I think so, I have all winter to think about how to do that - I may just drain and filter toward the beginning of next year then literally try and sell it to someone with a heating oil tank!
I stopped buying diesel from the boatyards about 8 years ago. I now only buy pump fuel from the roadside, yes its not Red and yes its a pain decanting it all from 20ltr jerry cans...........but never had a fuel problem since!
I think that turnover of diesel is key here - the yard I purchased from had closed its hire fleet and literally changed its visiting berths into sales berths and I think you mention some valid points.
Lovely video, looking forward to seeing you get it sorted.
Interested to see where you go from here

@ not doing the transition down south just yet then?
That is something that we are having a look at both in terms of practicality and affordability!
Lovely video with great drone shots of Southwold, I launch my centre console Karnic from Southwold a few times a year.
Yes, isn't it a great place, also, always found the Harbourmasters, Gerry and Peter to be most helpful, thank you for the comment!

Are you getting a bigger boat Gav, or just giving up boating?.
I can't say as we are a little up in the air at the moment - it may just be a move elsewhere at some point
