@Alonzo L Right. George also commented on the resiliency of planet earth; that humans were fucking it up; and at some point, the earth would shake humans off like a bad case of fleas. 😜
Oddly in his daily life I don't remember Georgie ever telling a lie to anyone... okay he did to the cops but that's about it LOL (When on the road, and eating at a greasy spoon diner, he treated each waitress like a lady, every Janitor at every college he played like a friend. He liked "Normal people" not rich celebs. He did not hang with them)
I guess he was just a total class act. He definitely seems like the type of person that wouldn’t by impressed by someone’s address but Instead by their character. Thanks for sharing! -Ryan
Fun fact. Bud light actually comes in blue cans here in a America. And regular Budweiser comes in red cans like the one I have right now. Facts are fun.
One year after this comment, and one year more into "whats happening today" - I really, really wish he was here to witness this but also not because that'd be torture.
Hey, guys. Great reactions. You should try 'George Carlin on our similarities' or anything from ERB(epic rap battles of history). If you haven't seen anything from them, Ronald McDonald vs The Burger King is a good one to start with.
Aw, you recommended Epic Rap Battles of History, then gave them one of the non-historical ones. 🤣 And if you're going to do non-historical ones, I'd think it would be more fitting to recommend George Carlin vs. Richard Pryor in a comments section for a George Carlin video. ;) (As for a historical one, I'd go back to Alexander the Great vs. Ivan the Terrible. One of the best battles they ever did.)
His message is only timeless because you've been too pacified to stand-up against your government. I mean, you watch this and you say all these things and then you go about your life again.
This guy was miles ahead of any comedian dead or alive.
I can recite his bits like a song I've heard 100 times
Modern day philosopher, one of the best.
I found George late. I'm amazed at how relevant he is. A true comedian. And so fuckin' smart. I'm just thankfull to get 'it'.
George Carlin. Such a wise man. Rest in peace :-(
Carlin. The King. 'Nuff said.
Loved it. I’m digging deep tonight and this is good stuff
Philosophy thinly disguised as comedy imho :)
That’s spot on Joshua. What a great way to get people to listen to his Philosophy. If atheists had preachers he would be the pope -Ryan
It’s really hard to argue with his logic.
Its still relevant because shit hasn't changed. Outside of more power and wealth for the powerful and wealthy.
Martial law is gonna prove everything George said is true our rights are privileges and if we disobey well lose them
🥺🥶
🙌 -Adam
They don't need martial law. They already are in charge.
@@yammahopper martial law is just a way to "lawfully" do what they were gonna do regardless
The man was a prophet.
Natural Disasters is one of Carlin's most brilliant commentaries. These days I watch the Weather Channel and think "Dang George." 😆
🤣🤣🤣 that’s hilarious. Thanks for the tip! -Adam

2020 mad Carlin fans find a way to bring him back to life sounds good to me as he always said I'm an entropy fan

Thanks you for the support. Really appreciate that. We love Carlin! -Ryan
And this is the very last bit that George Carlin has ever done. Four months after this, George passed away. "Soft language".
Thanks for the info! -Adam
GOAT
Everyone went nuts about Ricky Gervais’ hosting of the past Globes. Just imagine if they’d let a 90s Carlin host.
Was There Ever a Wiser Man?
GEORGE CARTLIN is a G O A T

The bible is science fiction. I love it.
Unfortunately the bible condones slavery!
There's Little Science in the Bible .... It's Just Plain Fiction!
People who want to share their political or religious views with you never want to hear yours.
Ican't laugh at the truth

The fact that this message is still relevant shows how little positive change has happened
