The 2strokes need to be ran like you hat them foot all the way to the floor and then shift. They do not make power until about 1800 rpm then they start to wake up. If your getting coolant in your oil you need to pull the heads and replace the orings
Hopefully the engine, trans, and wiring is OK. But luckily the guy he bought it from which was a legit truck shop cam out and did a five hundred dollar job for a IOU.
hi Bruce, thanks for the video! I think you have a lot of work on this one, maybe not as much like the International, because it's a simpler machine, but work nonetheless. I think it would have been a better idea to prep the blue cab for the long haul, finishing the repairs on the trailer and make the roadtrip to get this truck hauled rather than drive it home by itself, so much risk of something going very wrong in the middle of nowhere, a couple of weeks to get things done on the blue cab and the trailer would have been better in my opinion. Well, you already took the decision, so keep your head cool, have safe trip home!

I think he should have used a few brain cells & got the truck looked over by a truck mechanic like I suggested in the poll comments.
He's proved & admitted that he has little knowledge.
I think it should have been left where it was.
I’m sure the seller is laughing his ass off. Sucker.
That 6V92 is a wet sleeved engine. You need SCA in that cooling system to keep your sleeves from getting destroyed.
6V-92.....I call it the "Road Oiler"
its a 6v92T
djay4487 deved what is point of your comment?
We called them "screamers ", I'm suprised it's not dual exhaust...🤔
@@djaydeved They oil the road just as good.
When I was in the Red Horse USAF we had R model Mack’s or rented Pete’s. Good luck
Those split rims are extremely dangerous
Tyler c those are split ring rims not split rims.
Aluminum with a steel lockring. Aluminum and steel don't get along. May have the white powder of death under that lockring, after many years.
@@ko9446 yes I no exactly what they r I worked at a tire shop before
i got split rims on my 1975 ford f250 4x4
So the last truck was/is a bilolgical hazard to be around, so you upgraded to possibly a Radioactive one?
"Ground Force One" sounds pretty ok!
Thats not. A bad looking truck. You got alot of nice stuff for it . I like that blue stripe . It makes it not look so plain
So you swapped one pile for another?
The white cabover looks much better both power wise and interiorwise. At least with the white one you'll have a 0 mile motor and all the bugs worked out. That truck looks like more work lol
Just traded one bag of worms for another. We’ll see how far you get with this one.
Between the two he should be able to build a decent truck
Yea how the hell you go 2 states away drive a Commercial truck across country with no License.. When he gets it home he will do same shit as before except this time he will rob everything off that other international.. Watch and see.. Look up what this guy is making off youtube you will freak out..
@@larryspicer3701 he has no cdl? bruce wilson is famous for not finishing things lol
@@larryspicer3701 he said he was taking off all the new parts off the white cab to fit to this one. As the white cab mechanics are all junk.
@@seanbax2622 not junk if you know how to fix it
If you haven’t checked out the Scania truck engines in the UK mainly they are a real beast of an engine. They sound like nothing else.
"Danger zone" is the only name that comes to mind
@Bryan Lacount it sounds bad ass though
@Bryan Lacount no, it's Kenny Loggins!
Sweet!!!! Gotta respect a good adventure. Much luck on your trip home and keep her between the white lines.
This guy's life would be so much easier if he knew enough about a truck that he could buy a decent one.
Edwin Dunbar doesn’t want to spend the full price tag🤷♂️. Instead of buying 3 trucks I would of bought one decent one from a auction that at least has been on the road
Especially when he says spring Ride is grade LOL he is going to need a real good air ride seat
The 2strokes need to be ran like you hat them foot all the way to the floor and then shift. They do not make power until about 1800 rpm then they start to wake up. If your getting coolant in your oil you need to pull the heads and replace the orings
Mach none cabover is a good name or the Bruce Flying Circus cabover.🙏👍
I started working for a place that had a fleet of these in 1984. I quit in 2005 and they we’re still using most of them.
The best name for it is obviously "Air Force One"
Heck yes that's awesome!!
Air Force None...
Hopefully the engine, trans, and wiring is OK. Look like mos of the first cabinet will be used on this for sure,I would have had it transported as most bought unseen old base/ military vehicles have issues when bought in radiator. Bout other then that looks like a decent truck as long as no surprise come up
Bruce is always looks baked even when he gets off the airplane.... 😂😂🤣😭
That's real trucking there. They ok with you parking at the pumps to work on truck...and what about your missing mudflaps? Riding dirty.
Name- War Turd
Literally quit working on one turd to try and shine another. Let's see how long this project lasts.
This kid is like a ping pong ball all over the place, OCD to the max but it's good to see young people who work hard.
@@improperbostonian6722 oh I agree. Hes one of the hardest working guys on youtube. If he had a little common sense he'd be deadly.
@@budd2018 Ya he would, But he will take his lumps and learn the had way I think.
@Jt likes Butts Wanker Even funnier is how Bruce talked it up to his "fans". He literally pointed out everything bad about the truck he abandoned. Talked so highly about this truck and showed pictures at perfect angles to make it look pristine. Funniest part, It has all the same negatives that he described about the other truck he gave up on to get this one. I voted to restore the truck he had started already. He'll have a vote to get rid of this one within a month. Or it will sit in the background while he starts and stops the next bazillion projects. I'm still waiting for the diesel swapped mustang.......................
"crickets"
This is the car accident that is "Bruise" Wilson. Everyone loves a good car wreck.
@@budd2018 don't know if you follow em but Westen Champlin has a Cummins swap Mustang in the works. Been a little slow on that as they work on their raptor project but it's coming along.
When my brother bought his first truck the radiator blew up less the 75 miles. He just had enough money to put gas in it. It was an old mack cab-over and it had under 200,000 miles. But luckily the guy he bought it from which was a legit truck shop cam out and did a five hundred dollar job for a IOU.
At least it was a Mack. Worth putting money into.
Pretty sure your “Farm” CDL doesn’t apply to interstate travel.
🤣 exactly
Yep, only 150 miles of home nothing more.
Interstate is OK. Might be other issues but wish him well.
He can run interstate just can't cross state lines (in Arkansas) we can weigh 85k off the farm but can't touch the interstate over 80
Hope they don’t check IFTA on the way into another state.
How in the world are you working on trucks and flying while covid 19 is aromatic
Bruce wilson is time to buy a mack truck That cab over need a fully restoration wondering how much he pay for that
F700 or R-model. 👍
pavel1809
Any amount was to much
hi Bruce, thanks for the video!
Sweet Alabama mullet Bro.
Anyone see the Chevy love in the background at 1:45. Same color as the one Bruce picked up
You should call it maverick
No. One, Maverick was Navy, and Two, an Air Force related name for it would be better
Classic internationals are my favourite trucks thanks for saving another one
That 4 spring rear suspension....not gonna be a great ride.
Looks like the one I drove while in the USAF. The paint job was Air Force blue. No radio came with it. The USAF added a radio so we could talk to the control center.
“The Veteran “??? And you’re gonna have to paint it jet fighter grey!!!
Nah, he shod keep this paint scheme
@@bojanglesthewizard8875 He could keep the Blue And put on the grey over the white
@@NishnaValleyRailVideos that would look a lot better
So cool that you're building all these old rigs
That looks rough.
