Brinly’s 48” Front Mount ZTR Dethatcher has a patent-pending one-bolt design, that allows it to be mounted to a wide variety of makes and models in under a minute by clamping firmly around the wheel casters on the mower. It's position in front of the machine gives the operator greater control and articulation, allowing the tines access to corners and other tight spaces where a tow-behind unit simply couldn’t reach.
Placing the dethatcher forward of the mowing deck also provides a significant increase in efficiency by enabling pickup of thatch and either collection or mulching in a single pass. What would normally require one pass to extract the thatch and another to collect or mulch it can now be accomplished in half of the time.
