I’ve seen Sonic Polaris’s take on Nicole’s origin. But this version really takes another level, in a different direction that’s just as brilliant with references of the Sonic Lores from the games. In this story, Dr. Ivo Robotnik was just trying to save Nicole, who has been afflicted with NIDs (the same disease Maria had). And to do that, he put Nicole in one of his “Badniks” prototypes to let her live on borrowed times. It’s too bad that his presentation made a bad first impression with the public, and he was made into the villain because of it. A reminder that some villains were once ordinary people who have experienced a tragedy, or a misunderstanding, that sent them off the deep ends.
I feel bad for nicole she was a very sick girl how was trap in the cyberverse I see só many fans of sonic have a crush on the girls. I hope some fan are in love of nicole
A good job on the voice work here. The characters came out well and it does serve as an interesting start to Robotnik's own fall from grace. Hope to see more.
The road to oblivion is often paved with good intentions… I always find it fascinating seeing takes of what the doctor could be like if he never turned evil or seeing what events led him to turn evil. As always, great work to everyone who works on these comics.
I like how Sonic Paradox went from silly sonic parodies to stories, they’ve done a good job on the story and have been a major part of my childhood, bravo Sonic Paradox, bravo.
0:16 finally sitting down to watch this but from my preliminary glance, I loved seeing the good ol' President from the Land of the Sky. A nice cameo if you ask me!

I was reading the comments left over by the team and I must say that I'm surprised that this was 2 years in the making. I can definitely see the work put into this and I hope Sea Salt returns to be part of this series. I look forward to the next issue. :)
@@oddguy5356 Eggman betrayed quite a few scientists before taking over. Chuck was one of them and the other was a guy named Nate Morgan. By the way, because of you, I had to rewatch this video...Thank you! I enjoyed this just as much as I watched it the first time. I hope to see the next Issue soon.
Oh, fun direction to take Eggman's origin. I don't think I've seen anyone start him off as a good guy since that comic they made back when the series first started in the 90s.
I really like the Sonic Legacy comics, it is an interesting take on the Sonic lore and how it uses characters and story elements from both the shows and the Archie and Fleetway comics, I really enjoyed this take on Eggman and Nichole's backstory, this is similar to what Nichole's backstory in Sonic Satam was meant to be, she was meant to be a mobian who Eggman/Robotnik trapped in a computer. As for Eggman, it is similar to his backstory in Fleetway were he was once a nice person but an accident resulted in him becoming evil.
Ooh this is a fun backstory for ivo, it was a monsterous machine but he did say it was a temp measure that he had to Wip up on a tiny timeframe though as it’s said the road to hell is paved on good intentions
It's an interesting idea to see Eggman and uncle Chuck as former research friends like Wily and Light, before Eggman deteriorates from wanting to be recognized to becoming the worst kind of narcissist.
We've got one more project he contributed to, but it's a big one. May still be a longer before it'll see completion, but I refused to ever replace his voice for it.

Yet, one of the cruelest things about life is that just because you found a solution, it doesnt mean it will be readily accepted. In fact, Robotnik jumped the shark in thinking a mobile pod would serve as a cure when the public demanded a sort of pill. He had one chance to prove he found a cure....only to instill trauma the council now had to endure
Well Robotnik have save the girl but not what everyone he knows that there no medicine for this but instead use his uncle's research to save her but only to become a robot not what everyone wanted to see to point he was banish from all projects but in the end Nicole chose this fate but a fate that is worse than death but even so Robotnik just want to save her but in wrong way cause he just need more time to find a solution what a pitiful tragedy for both characters.

Come to think of it, I wonder how this would have worked out if Ivo had told Nicole and her parents about this procedure before he performed it...And on some level, I'm actually questioning if it was so bad. He did say the badnik was simulating her consciousness. Given more time, he could have probably improved the technology to the point where whoever was inside the badnik could have effectively lived a life much more like those outside of one.
10:26 Eggman literally perfectly recreated the initial technology that Seto Kaiba developed and was later perfected by Gozaburo Kaiba's team from the virtual realm. based on a Virtual reality game...That we later saw him create Duel Links which later gave birth to Link Vrains... Or what could we say, the Cyberspace of the elders of StarFall Island
It is, but this is also teasing the lead up to current day. BD-NIC is already seen on the side of the machine, and the acronym is explained in dialog. It's always good to avoid over explaining, something earlier Archie Sonic issues suffered from.

Nice easter egg of having the names of Doctors from other popular franchises on the filing cabinets such as Doctor Who, Doctor Wily and Doctor Phil.
Oh, fun direction to take Eggman's origin. I don't think I've seen anyone start him off as a good guy since that comic they made back when the series first started in the 90s.
We wanted to play off of his dialog at the end of Sonic Adventure 2, where he talked about how he looked up to Gerald and saw him as a hero.

My guess is that it’s written ’badnik’ for ease of pronunciation, I would otherwise read the acronym as “beedee nick”
