Thanks for reading out my response to last week's question. This was the 'Duel' I was talking about... It was quite cold for me at the time as I saw it when I was young. Duel - the 1971 American road action-thriller directed by Steven Spielberg. As you know, the film is based around a salesman (played by Dennis Weaver) driving his car through rural California. He finds himself being chased and terrorised by the mostly unseen driver of a truck.
Great thing about ABC for the past four decades is they don’t have ads mid-episode, mid-movie or mid-program. I’d imagine ABC iView would replicate the actual channels itself and not have any ads (except for before the film). Anyway, I have recently rewatched Prisoners through free-to-air TV on ABC, and it was shown during the daytime. I wouldn’t surprised if they cut something down for absent school kids running into the channel at home. But I’m sure there’s no issue seeing mini-Roeg in the bare for Walkabout (Zac started it). Long discussion for a Villeneuve masterpiece but great Fitzy-less episode because he shouldn’t review his own starring performance. Rather disappointed finding about their original intention with the ending when youse read the iMDB trivia. The South East Asian driver joke from Zac was especially odd 😏 Thank you very much for not using the “r” word when trying to describe Paul Dano’s character. Jayden muting before we moved on to Polka Dots guy to test Zac once again 😆
