Wow!! What a great job you are doing by informing us, about the stories behind these treasure of 19 century homes!! I love to watch these antique homes and at the same time I feel sadness too!! Excellent video, thank you!! 😊
Both of these houses are just beautiful and I’m so glad the first one was restored but, I just loved the second one. The eyebrow window and the roof line were fantastic! I sure hope this house is as fortunate as the first one.
These are beautiful properties. The only problem is they’re in such bad shape that even if they were to give you the building, it would be a major, major financial investment to restore them.
Hope both of these houses are still standing and have been or are restored. Second Empire Victorian is my favorite style. Thanks for showing us these beauties😊
The second one oh my word. That old mint green stove is beautiful. And that silver Christmas tree. My Grandmother had one. She also had the circle spinning light that made the tree to appear to change colors. What memories. Thanks for the wonderful video.
Well, if I had a boatload of money, and could afford to move one of these behemoth, it would be so awesome to buy one of these old beauties and bring it back to its former self❤
Another wonderful video and amazing houses with such beautiful craftsmanship..yea,it would take someone well off with money to remodel these enormous size homes.. but nice know that u are capturing them and their style before they are lost in time.. thank u for sharing
UrbanEye thanks for sharingthis video with me and i really enjoyed it and i gave you a thumbs up and shared you out on my community tab my friend and God Bless.
This house is way to beautiful to have let it come into disrepair, there is a lot of contents in the house that could be sold to repair the roof, is which is why this house is in this state, snd a lot could be donated to ppl with out, or libraries, or musems. Which in turn could lead to blessing! Its sad to see everything just get ruined. But i love this house, thanks for sharing.
If I may, let me presume to tell you why from my experiance. The house is owned by someone rich or famous and when it is no longer lived in or wanted, who ever owns it, thinks it worth far more then it was!!! So no one else can afford to buy it,😮😢 then it sits and falls down!! We bought a house in LaHarpe, Il. in 2015, That was built between 1873-1875. It had been remodled several times over the years, In 1960 it was turned into 4 apartments, then in 1999, back to a single house of 14 rooms and 4 baths. Then the family moved out of state. Rented it for a time, sold it 2 times on land contract. No one in the area wanted it because it was so huge and run down!! The owner was so tired of dealing with it, he dpld it to us for $4000. We remolded it and resold it for $44,000. Not much profit! But!! Had the owner not decoded tp just unload it, it might still be sitting empty and falling down!!! Thats what happens to those old homes, 😢😢😢😢
Once again great information and videos! Beautiful work Urban Eye ❤
