What better way to start a new year than with an entire house deep clean?! I have had a long list of deep cleaning to-do's running for a while now and I decided to take the first few days of January to work through them and get our home back in order.
We're deep cleaning the entire house, including a deep clean of the bathrooms, a deep clean of the laundry machine, deep clean of the dishwasher, deep clean of the oven, cleaning shower glass doors and more!
One thing I've been learning in this season with very young kids is that it's okay to dedicate a few days or even weeks to a process like this -- one thing cleaned at a time is better than nothing at all! Hope this gives you guys some cleaning motivation and happy new year! ❤️

Love doing full house deep cleans. It doesn't happen as often with a baby as it used to but I like how you said patience and over days can get it done. I noticed you had what looked like a sink brush that had replaceable heads or a toliet brush that was wood. Where did you get those i've been wanting to switch away from the plastic ones.

If you don’t already have one, I recommend a squeegee for the shower door ☺️ I got mine at IKEA and it works wonders for the water spots!!
I do have one of these but haven’t found it super helpful with the hard water once it’s dry… I’ll give it a shot again!!

do you turn the breaker box off to the light switches you’re cleaning or is it perfectly safe to clean them like that? because I have been paranoid to do this for ages but it sure needs it!

Still working on it… 😂 our kids are such opposite sleepers so it’s been a struggle. We may even end up having baby #3 share with one of them before I get these two in the same room haha
My 3 year old and 2 year old share a room (started at 2 and 1 when pregnant with number 3) and I think the best piece of advice I found was to put some type of white noise in between both beds so if one wakes up, it helps in not waking the other one up. My kids are super loud and will scream as they roll over 😅 so they did wake each other up probably the first week or two, but I do think the white noise helped some and they stay asleep now even when the other one screams or cries.

I noticed you have the two kiddos in one room. I’m sorry if I missed it, but have you posted a video explaining… how you did that?! I am one kid behind you (pregnant with #2) and am adamant that the two kids will one day share a room so that we can keep a guest bedroom/office, but I’m not sure how to make that work. Obviously people do it, I would love any advice you have!
I don’t actually have them in one room - it’s been such a struggle for us too! Every time we’ve tried the night has been awful haha they’re such opposite sleepers 😂 so all Jude’s stuff is in this room and I refer to it as the “kids room” but Jude is currently in a pack and play in our guest room! Working on transitioning them together!

Curious why you chose to stack your laundry machines instead of hiding them under the counters ?
The counter space isn’t actually big enough to fit them underneath currently! They were stacked when we bought the house last year :)
It's quite common in Canada and US to have your laundry machines stacked on one another.
Anyone else thinking it would have been great if her husband at least helped with the laundry whilst Beth was ill?
I do read these comments…. 😂 he was keeping everything else running and taking care of the kids while I was in bed for 48 hours straight - the laundry can wait!
