- To kickoff our summer, we spent some time down in Carlsbad, California (near San Diego) and stayed at the Hilton Grand Vacations at MarBrisa. 🌴
We spent this first day at Carlsbad State beach enjoying the nice cooler weather... 🌊 especially since the weather back home in northern CA was 106° 🥵 ...and enjoyed some pool time at the resort. We have nothing but great things to say about this resort! 🙌

It was very cloudy and chilly! Was a nice break from the summer heat for us, but you’re right, definitely not the typical “beach weather” one might want. Thank you for watching ❤️

Carlsbad is great! Stayed super close to there for a conference a few years ago. Love the laughs and fun you guys get to have together!

How did you get a studio with a family of 4? Seems like if you put in more than 2 people it forces you to only see 1 bdrm options
To be honest I’m not even sure, I’m so sorry! It’s been such a long time since this trip I don’t remember the booking process 🤣 wish I could be of more help!
Does the resort have beach items to borrow? It’s always hard to travel and have to buy items that you can’t really tame back home on the plane ✈️
Not that I recall, but maybe check by calling the front desk and see! That would be helpful if you’re flying!
Marbrisa has the beach chairs for free if you ask the front desk.
