    hi, can you tell me which one is suitable for micro silica powder?

    • @3MCorporate
      @3MCorporate  4 місяці тому

      Hello Farshad -
      Thank you for your query. When working with microsilica powder, using a respirator that filters fine particulate matter is essential. The 3M™ Particulate Respirator 8210 (N95) effectively filters 95% of non-oil-based particles, including silica dust. For enhanced comfort and longer wear, the 3M™ Particulate Respirator 8511 (N95) features a cool flow valve. For higher exposure, the 3M™ Half Facepiece Reusable Respirator 6000 Series with 3M™ 2091 P100 filters offers superior protection, capturing 99.97% of particles. Proper fit and usage are crucial, and P100 filters are recommended for more intense exposure due to their higher protection level.
      We hope this information helps!

    Which filter would be the best for soldering?

    • @3MCorporate
      @3MCorporate  6 місяців тому +2

      Hello there -- The 3M™ Particulate Filter 2091 is commonly used for soldering, welding, brazing, torch cutting, and metal pouring. Safety equipment's inventory needs and training requirements are reduced because this filter works for many applications. The filter is both flame and water resistant.
      Thank you!

    I can't find any answer on the internet about which cartridge is good for volcanic smog? Is it safe to say if in doubt, just go for any P100s?

    • @3MCorporate
      @3MCorporate  5 місяців тому +3

      Hi there -- Thank you for your comment! For volcanic smog, the 3M 6002 Acid Gas Cartridge is a suitable option. It is designed to filter out sulfur dioxide (SO2) and other acidic gases commonly found in volcanic smog. Always ensure the respirator and cartridge are properly fitted for effective protection.
      Hope this helps!

    I'm hobbyist doing 3D resin printer. I know the VOCs are nasty and checking the list of cartriges, it seems I could use 6001, 60921, 60923, and 60926 ... which one should/ could take? All of them seems to be good against VOCs.

    • @3MCorporate
      @3MCorporate  2 місяці тому +2

      Hello -
      Thank you for your query. The VOCs from resin 3D printing are hazardous, so choosing the right cartridge is essential. The 6001 is a basic option for VOCs, while the 60921 adds P100 filtration for particulates. The 60923 includes acid gas protection, though it's less relevant for resin printing. The 60926 offers the broadest protection, covering multiple gases and particulates. For most resin printing, 60921 is sufficient, but the 60926 is ideal for versatility or exposure to varied materials. Always pair with a compatible respirator and ensure good ventilation.
      Hope this information helps!

      @@3MCorporate one more question if you don't mind, for airbrush (particles + mist?) uses with acrylic non toxic paints, is 3m filter 2091 and 3M Performance Filter P95 Particulate would be options to go? Thx once again!

    • @3MCorporate
      @3MCorporate  2 місяці тому +1

      Thank you for your query. For airbrushing with acrylic non-toxic paints, both the 3M 2091 P100 filters and the 3M Performance P95 filters are suitable options for particle protection. The 3M 2091 P100 filters offer a filtration efficiency of 99.97%, making them ideal for environments with a high concentration of very fine particles, including mists generated during airbrushing. On the other hand, the 3M Performance P95 filters provide 95% filtration efficiency for both oil-based and non-oil-based particulates. These filters are more than sufficient for non-toxic paint applications with moderate particulate exposure. While both options are effective, the 2091 P100 filters are recommended if you expect significant overspray or finer particulates. Ensure that whichever filter you choose is used with a compatible 3M respirator to achieve a proper seal and optimal performance.
      We hope this information helps!
