Thanks brother, that was very nice of you to do.
This was a great film 🎥 it was like a TV show very entertaining 😮
Thanks Dean for your time and the video .
I believe I would have a nervous break down trying to do that. But I enjoyed Watching.
Wow the Vert turned out awesome, some great and honest information, I did my ‘71 I had to get my friend to do the back window, I didn’t have the courage to cut my fancy stay-fast, thanks for all the effort.
Thanks!

What are you doing to the front of the headliner when you are measuring 18.5" and cutting?
Thanks for this valuable info and perfect timing even though I’m a long way off from this step. I have been stressing about it for many years But where do you get the rubber parts?
I got my stuff from Chucks Convertibles
I have two offers of all missing parts, including canvas, headliner, etc., since I only have the structure. One from chuck and the other one from M &T manufacturing. Any recommendations will be welcome
New vert to me. A 65. My first vert. Does anyone know if the headliner along both sides from front to rear get mounted to the frame somehow? Or are they loose and have to be loose to allow the top to fold open?
I own a 1955 convertible bug in perfect conditions with new top structure, but missing parts including top, rear glass and frame, top canva, headliner. Can any of you, please help me giving some information of shops, stores to restore it? Your HELP will be appreciated
I’m not sure if you are on Facebook, but Slades VW community Facebook group, if you post that there you will probably get a lot of guidance. Thank you
Don’t think I would be able to install a convertible top.
This is definitely a job for a Professional in my opinion.
I think it’s about $2500 in labor I saved by DIY. if I can do it anyone can. My day job has zero to do with cars or mechanics.
Looks really easy. NOT. 😂
