Thanks for the great tour. Baumholder was where I also worked, 45 years ago, on the base as a company clerk. It's nice to see that it hasn't changed much with the exception of fast food. Wonderful town, great people, many happy memories.

I was stationed there back in 1972 to 1974. I was the assistant company clerk/mail clerk in Headquarters Company, 2/68th armor Div. up on the hill. Looks so much different now with all newer buildings. We were in the old WW2 german barracks back then.

I was stationed there from 2007 to 2010 with A 1/84 Field Artillery. This was so nostalgic watching this video. That road at 3:35 that leads from downtown Baumholder to the back gate of post, I can't even count how many nights I staggered home from the bar down that road back to the barracks with my buddies, drunk as fuck, stopping to piss in the treeline, yelling and singing, laughing. Good times. Seems like forever ago, like a whole other lifetime or something.

I was stationed there during the Viet Nam War era. Horrible! Some of the worst years of my life were spent there. Tomorrow is a "personal holiday" of mine. It is the anniversary of my separation from the U.S. Army. That was one of the happiest days of my life -- to leave that nightmare in the past.

Stationed there from 77 to 80. Was a radar tech, worked on site up on the hill. Don't know if everything changed, or maybe I had too much Koch brau while I was there. LOL

Slow down the car and quit the edit, meaning it was good to see around the area but too fast and the edit makes it too disjointed. Sorry
