There’s so much wrong with the reporting here. This female reporter is literally exuberant about the fact that is shooting took place. No one knows the victim. No one knows the shooter. No one knows the motive behind the shooting. Other than they was a family cookout. Right away there’s a call for more gun control. I’ll tell you one thing that won’t solve this problem is more gun control. There is no gun control that would stop this problem. If it wasn’t a gun, it would be a knife. If it wasn’t a knife it would be a Strangulation. The problem is violence and people. Gun violence is just a misnomer. Stopping fringing on peoples rights to protect themselves. And let the chips fall where they may. We talking about a group of people who have no self-control and overreact and behave irrationally, I don’t know what kind of laws you can institute other than everyone needs to stay in their own homes. This park has never been particularly safe. Maybe during the day. But definitely not at night. I know I’m not gonna make too many friends with what I’ve said here but it’s the truth.
Used to go to the park almost daily for 15 years until I sold my house in Roselle 6 years ago. Never had any issue and never saw any issue..was actually my recommended park for women who wanted to jog solo..

I used to live literal next to warinaco park, in the apartments buildings, and ive sinced moved, but i will always remember hearing fireworks, gunshots, tires screeching, and all the accidents. I miss hearing things about my hometown even tho im no longer in the area
