This song is so much harder with what we know now from Junior year, and I can't help but think that Brennan heard this and went "hey, what if I-"
I guessed there would be a Gilear song but this was so much better than I ever could have imagined
Fabian’s interlude kills me every time
They did such a good job with that xD
I imagine Fabien recorded it for Gilear to find and Gilear is just standing there listening to it.
This song is fantastic. All that despair mixing with terrible rage but without anywhere to really put it. One thing though, Fabian really sounds like a school bully in this (but the voice WAS spot on!)

Am I the only who thinks Geliars slip for the entertainments of the players and us is just... Not genuine? Like the guy was a government official and conceivably good vice principal?
Like... Does any one else just get uncomfortable with how much of a punching bag they make this story?
Other people have said on the discord they feel a bit uncomfortable. But remember that there is still love for him from the cast (especially Emily who’s said that she gets actively worried about Gilear outside of the game). I feel like he becomes more of the punching bag when the cast wanted to make sure it was still a comedy game (like at the start of FHSY they were just coming off of crown of candy so they needed some “light-hearted” stuff and Gilear filled that role
In Brennan’s own words, in response to the players regarding his existence as “cursed,” no, he’s “just a normal guy.”
(Which is slander, as he’s the Chosen One)
Though also in Brennan’s own words (now paraphrasing), Gilear can’t really make too much upward progress as a character without making him someone the player’s characters wouldn’t have as much access to. Like, they’re Adventurers, and they get into super-dangerous shenanigans, if his life was ‘perfect’ outside of every interaction they have with him _they_ would seem like the problem instead of the combo “wow that’s horrible luck” and “Gilear, dude, c’mon.”
somewhat yeah, wished he was treated a bit better. but he's great. i love him.
