My name is Erik and I quit my job to travel the country in my teardrop trailer, for one year. One of the more common questions I get asked is, "How do you shower on the road?"
Most the time, I use Planet Fitness to get my showers. However, I'm not always around a gym and therefore, cannot use their shower facilities. So, thats when I use my Yakima Road Shower
A road shower is a steel tube that sits on top of your car or travel rig and collects heat from the sun. AKA: A Solar Shower. You can then pressurize the tube with a bicycle pump or 12volt electric tire pump, like I do.
Road showers can get incredibly hot when temperatures outside reach into the high 80's and 90's. I've taken a road shower where the water temperature was somewhere around 125º. ouch!
I do also have a Nemo Helio Pressure Shower, however, I do not use it since I've obtained the Road Shower

I remember in the other video you said the water was lukewarm but sounds like the desert is the best place cuz it gets the water nice and hot. Off topic question. Did you opt to get electric brakes and a controller for your vehicle? Also, how much would you charge me to talk to you for about 30 minutes. I am going to go on a teardrop adventure for at least a year myself and I have many questions and I think it would be great to talk to someone who has done it already.
yes, sorry- that probably is confusing. the hotter the weather outside, the hotter the Road Shower tank becomes.
i do not have brakes on my trailer.
i have a charge controller for my solar. is that the kind of controller you were asking about?

🤦♀️ please shower everyday. Not cool and its gross. Before you lay in your bed, make sure you are clean.
remember he said he uses wet wipes when he can't shower... they do wonders for you... matter of fact, guess what they use in the hospital here for bed bound patients?? you got it.. wet wipes...
